It seems like apex barriers has been an issue lately and Broughy1322 mentioned it several times during the Blane county 24 hours stream or if it was MCEC.
I mentioned angeled apex barriers further up in the thred, how they can prevent pile ups if a car hit one. I have recorded a few examples to show how the angeled barrier works and that they actually gives the cars less damage if you hit one. (if you don't smash into a building after
For those who have tried my tracks are familiar with how I like to build up a corner. I like to make shorter tracks and I can then use more props in one corner. You get the same effect with the barriers here if you drive into them. I can use from 1 to 5-6 barriers inside a corner. In places where i used to use a tire stack I now use the cattle feeder. Tire stacks and tire lines inside a corner are often the reason for unnecessary accidents bc of the way they works. I know ppl will say "so don't drive into them", but with the difference in driving skills there will always be some who can't avoid them from time to time. I'm one of them. (no crashes in the video, look inside the corners)
Another thing I have been looking at is exit barriers. In the example below the barrier are there to prevent the lamp post from falling, but I don't want the car to stop and reverse into the racing line. Insted the barrier is angeled in a way that the car will get through, but not beneficial as kerb surfing or a wider line. If I want it open I can use like a red plastic barrier. A tire stack will grab the car even if you lightly hits it with the door. This is something I will try out in some tracks to see if the pack runs more smootly if there are accidents involved.

I really hope people start doing all these things. It's so simple and makes tracks so much better.
