Kind of on topic, Have you seen this movie then, not sure if it sucks. Thoughts on Carano in general? Sorry I haven't seen that film and I haven't seen Carano fight but I think she's going to have a tough time winning after not fighting for 5 years. She's not only rusty, but she's going to be going up against a higher level group of athletes than she did then. MMA styles and techniques can change a lot in that time.

That would be a good fight but I'd really like to see Gustafsson get the win over Jones this time. In my opinion, their 1st fight was a toss up but the judges are always going to give a close fight to the current champ. I'm so sick of Jones' douchebag attitude, especially lately with him and his ego trying to tell the UFC who he will or wont fight next. Jones couldn't care less what the fans want, he sure didn't want to face Gustafsson again. I'd love to hear the conversation that went down behind the scenes that finally got Jones to sign the papers. If I were Dana, I would've said, "Know your role. The UFC decides who you fight next. If you don't like our decision, you're free to give up the belt. Those are your only options." Edit: You say your friend just snapped his losing streak with a good win over Danny Martinez. You're friends with Scott Jorgensen? Yeah I want Jones to lose also but I like Cormier a lot so Id like it to be him to beat him and yeah I know Scott. Met him because of playing comp cod, very chill dude That's really cool. Did you meet any other notable celebrities or athletes from doing that?

Oh wow, I wasn't even aware that MacDonald was fighting Woodley last night. I would have guessed that Woodley was going to run clinic on Mac since I'm convinced Woodley is on steroids. His last two fights were absolutely ridiculous. I can't see MacDonald beating Hendricks, however. I'd much rather see Condit/Hendricks II.

Well, Woodley destroyed Condit, and then MacDonald completely dominated Woodley so I'd conclude MacDonald is probably going to give Hendricks an even tougher challenge than Condit. Besides that, Condit probably won't be back for a year, getting his knee fixed and even then, he'll have to work his way back up the ladder to get to Hendricks again.

I just hate MacDonald. I think he let the whole "next GSP" thing get to his head his last couple of fights. But I agree that MacDonald definitely deserves a title shot, it's just not what I would want to see. I'm going to watch the fight regardless because Hendricks is my man.

I'll admit MacDonald has been a pretty boring fighter in a lot of his fights. He's like a robot, fighting without emotion, and almost expressionless in and out of the ring but he gets the job done. Hendricks though is the best example of what every athlete should strive to be, not just in his accomplishments, but his humble attitude, and giving credit to his upbringing, and his wrestling couch. Great role model.

im a big fan since before the Pride days. used to watch rings/pankration/bushido whenever i could get hold of an old fuzzy VHS. been watching ufc from the start. also got 3 years of ju jitsu exp. got to purple belt when i was a teenager. so i really appreciate the grappling, something that puts people off i think.
i was ringside for 2 of the london events and one of the manchester ones. met bruce buffer, rampage, rogan, bisping, hamill, cro cop, serra, hendo and kongo. in london they put us up for the night in the marriot with the fighters, met them all in hotel lobby before and (boozing) after the events.
felt same about woodley, it was fkin awesome how rory dominated.
cormier to rape jones, and fedor is the goat.
jones is an amazing fighter with the personality of a rock. so i root for any of his opponents.
so thats where i stand!

That had to be expensive but cool as hell. I appreciate all aspects of the fights, including grappling. What UFC fighter do you most like to see beaten into retirement? For me, it's Tito. I absolutely can't stand that guy. No idea why he has even a single fan. Josh Koscheck is 2nd on my list. Worst douchebags the sport has to offer.

haha, they prob absolute top of my list too!
what annoys me about tito is that he doesnt even realise how much of an asshole he is! he says dumb shit he thinks sounds clever with a straight face, you just have to laugh. i cant believe they let him commentate and mc, he cant even string a sentence together.
did you see him at the conference as cyborgs manager?? my god, it was like he wrote down each word he was going to say on seperate pieces of paper then read them out in a random order. beyond a joke. then he marries the one girl on this planet who has famously taken the most cocks in every hole in every which way you can imagine and if u cant imagine you can go watch it coz it was filmed. and this guy actually thinks hes a respectable guy. hes a joke. you can see when he cried when he lost to randy. weird broken ego. needed a slap. glad randy was around!
kos, the lay n pray king. yeah boring. i can totally understand paul daleys frustration, idve probably done the same! it was funny when he called him a fraggle!
i also hated rory mcdonald ever since he called out a retired, past his prime bj penn and kicked the shit out of him and showed no respect.
King mo. i loved seeing rampage take it to him, i enjoyed more hearing king mo's excuses and disbelief lol what an asshole.
And for the record, the events i was at were not expensive. ill tell u how we did it....
there were weigh ins in manchester. me and a frind were in the city and randomly heard this. we went down there and mingled. it helps to have a charming handsome friend by the way. hes a lad legend too i should add. we got talking to the vice prsident of the uk division who happens to be a quite young attractive girl called jackie porijian and she couldnt resist my pals charms. she was second to marshall zlasnik who we also met. it snowballed for a couple of years till she lost interest! It was all FREE! including tickets.

Any thoughts on Jon Jones suspension? Also, who's going to win UFC 187 now that Daniel Cormier will be fighting Anthony Johnson for the title? My thoughts: I'm a little biased since I couldn't stand Jon Jones' douche bag attitude long before recent events but still, excellent decision by the UFC. I don't care how good an athlete is, no one should be untouchable without expecting repercussions from the organization they publicly represent. Johnson VS Cormier: My money is on Anthony Johnson. Lately, he looks almost unstoppable. What if Johnson had fought Jones? Unfortunately, I think Jones would have won a close fight.

Hah, Jones' holier than thou-act really has come crashing down in the past year and a half. Stripping him of the title is a no brainer after the shit he's done. It's a shame that potentially the greatest figher we've seen so far in the sport happens to be such an utter moron. Cormier is pretty much the best possible replacement. The 187 card line-up is now downgraded from legendary level to merely fantastic. Sidenote: Sonnen predicted that the fight wouldn't happen a while back in a reddit ama www.reddit.com/r/MMA/comments/30vgf9/the_bad_guy/cpw5upx

I was actually surprised to see that the ufc actually suspended him, I was pretty sure that he was going to get a slap on the wrist but i'm glad that the ufc did the right thing. As for DC VS AJ I think it can go either way, but in my opinion I think DC will pull out a victory.
