Ever since heists were finally released, I haven't completed a single one. I've only did the first two preps for the first heist, then gave up because there were so many server errors at the time.
Thing is I read so much stories here and over at GTAF about n00bs and randoms fucking up, I'm scared to even try them because in most cases I will be the n00b fucking up. And although I do have quite some NoDo in my friends list it's hard for me to get 4 people together who wanna do heists.
Also I don't know in advance when I'm able to be online to do them. Not looking for sympathy perse, just wanted to get it off my chest.
Any of you (for one reason or another) haven't done any heists?

Get a skype group together. Easy to organize times via group chat there, and you'll need to able to communicate during the heists. Either try finding people from the crew, or from your country's gta online facebook page like me and an IRL friend did (same language, timezones etc.). Randoms suck all the joy out of heists so don't bother with that imo.

If I'm going to waste my time, it certainly won't be wasted on endurance racing in GTA

I've done the first one and the first (and maybe second) set up for the next one. Thinking I should have done them all on 360 before transferring to PC. Now I will probably try to play them all on PC and just do the ones to unlock vehicles on 360. So many times I've thought "tonight i will do heists" then end up screwing around in free-roam instead. I probably just need to try organizing a group to do Criminal Mastermind and have it over with.

I've done 4/5 with no microphone. When I made my new character I thought to myself, why buy a high end apartment for heists, when I can just skip all the heist setups and get straight into the heist via invites and then buy an apartment with a nice view and a pool. With random lobbies it's all about luck with a good team. Of course crew members make it easier even without a mic. If there's one thing this crew has is professionalism on all aspects. When you're online just ask a few NoDo guys, I myself would help you out.

I have a flowchart for you.
Are you mentally handicapped? ->Yes-> Do not play Heists. ->No-> Go enjoy heists. You'll be fine. Just be ready for some people who didn't have this useful chart on hand to tell them they in fact should not be playing Heists.

I think it's just we're more mature in getting the job done I remember making a poll asking people their age groups on a whim and most people here are 15-27ish I believe Our crew must attract that age group and type of people just because professional style racing can't really be appreciated by the explosion spammers Not that we don't have a few ourselves

I agree, I think proper racing in general seems to attract the mature gamers. Games like Project cars I think will attract an older audience, and competitive racing in GTA requires some form of patience which I think the younger generation don't have. Then that maturity just advances onto all game modes. Like I did all Series A heist setups with double_s92 and moosterd just with a random host and didn't die once. Then when the guy decided to replace them for randoms we failed so many times.

I've done the first two heists, as host, but haven't really moved beyond that. Part of the problem was switching to PC from 360. The group of friends I played with, who were all reliable and chill players, didn't make that migration with me. Since then I've had difficulty finding reliable players. A fellow NoDo member and I did the first heist together on PC and I really enjoyed it. I haven't been able to reconnect with him again yet due to some health issues I was having and I think he may have moved on to a different crew (though I need to speak to him to confirm this; just going off an assumption right now). I should have completed all the heists on 360 before transferring my character, then I wouldn't have to really worry about it.
I've tried heists with a few others people I know from that weird place called Real Life, but I've found the people they're bringing along are just too high strung. As in racing, people make mistakes in heists. They die. They take the wrong route. They don't pay attention. I don't really get upset because it's just a game, but I've found the crews I tried playing with tend to get really irate. To me, it's far more annoying to have people getting upset over fails than it is to have people failing (I think that sentence makes sense; it does in my twisted brain).
Unlike others, I've had nothing but poor experiences when trying to complete heists with randoms.
I'm also not really locked into the idea that heists MUST be completed on the Hard setting. I want to complete the heists to unlock the vehicles, I'm not really worried about the RP or $.
tl;dr I'm on PC and want chill, reliable people to do heists with.
