Hello,
I've been away for a long while. I've missed a few things...
What's going on, there are no races arranged anymore on gta online pc?
I found a 2018 Broughy1322 YouTube video that seem to suggest races still are organised through here.
Am I missing something?

Cheerio Sadly the forums and most of the community died with discord becoming the new trend ~5 years ago. The only thing that started here and is still going strong is the 7th season of TEPCOTT.

Hi yall. I don't think I've used this forum since early 2017. Life happened. Lol. I've been praying for years that a new GTA would come out and the community would grow and be revitalized. Decided to come back and see how the forum was doing. It hurts to see it dead and inactive. Reminds me of when my old SA:MP forums died in like 2012. A piece of history that we can't get back. If it wasn't for R* milking gta v for all it had this community would still be thriving I bet. As of right now I fully plan on becoming active again in NODO once the next game comes out which hopefully will be before 2025 maybe? ?? Yesterday was the 10 year anniversary of GTA Online so I hopped on tonight. It's a shame that I can't find any decent race lobbies. NODO made us way too fast to race randoms lol it's never a challenge. I do miss playing with yall. I found the crew in a very low point of my life and I think it helped me a lot. I was 15 and my only parent had just died suddenly of a severe asthma attack while I was sleeping one night. I was extremely depressed for a while and shut off all relationships with people I used to know. Online friends, IRL friends, girls I used to talk to, etc. This was early 2014 and during that time I found Broughy's videos by chance on youtube. Loved the genuine scientific testing. Loved the silly northern english accent. Joining the crew was one of the first social things I did after my life was turned upside down so in retrospect it really stands out as part of a turning point in my life, which sounds hyperbolic but thats how things go sometimes I guess lol. The crew was great and it was nice to be able to talk to friendly people who treated me like any normal person. For a long time the people I knew in real life treated me differently since they knew my life was completely turned upside down and they pitied me and whatnot and all I wanted was to get back to feeling normal and this community helped because of the anonymity of being online. I was active in NODO from early 2014 to early 2017. It was a great time but unfortunately the game became stale and moving to PC meant I had to compete against other people who had better PCs than me and the bad performance of my garbage PC + the fact that the game was getting older and more stale meant I started to drift away from the crew. Plus Broughy made me a mod when the PC version released because I was making steam crews and stuff for us before launch. That was kind of silly because I was still a teenager and I probably shouldn't have accepted the responsibility but whatever I'm glad I helped out. Got burned out eventually and silently quit the crew as a result. Still watched broughy videos and still tuned in to a stream very rarely. I'm super glad that he was able to sustain a large audience while the game was on life support for so long. I can't wait for the next game to come along so the crew and grow once again. I'll be there. But yeah, I wasn't quite expecting the forums to be dead but I guess that's just be being a boomer (25 now lol). Is the Broughy discord the main place to stay in touch with the crew nowadays? I've been in there for a long time but never said anything but I might start communicating soon since I'm curious. Just thought I would say what's up to yall on the anniversary. Playing the game now that it's so old makes me yearn for the days of active racing crews so much. There's only so many stunt race lobbies you can dominate, ya know? Also want to shoutout Miss Snuggles for making this cool pixelart of my old Ruiner that I had on PS3 that was based on Ivan's Ruiner from that GTA 4 mission. Very cool. Also want to shoutout Sugar Free Nos and Baron for doing a lot of the heavy lifting on the PC moderation front. I remember clearing the novices out of the R* crew a lot but leaving most of the other work to them because I was so busy with school and moving to university at the time. And shoutouts to people like Katenhond, TDWPMark, Arcmauster, ganjalo, CHILLI, Pundip, Zenzi, JamieJones, Pegleg, Brady, Cloud aka Viktor, Dr Pepperz, marklyell, ovivo, cam, oh darn, dim, bladecruiser, and many more. Also my fucking boy from San Andreas MTA, streetking evo. Yall were great. Hopefully some of yall will also come back to the crew with GTA 6, it would be amazing. For now, though, peace. Find me on discord at nikoswag_

Find me on discord at nikoswag_ Hey man Yeah the crew hasn't been active for a long while. Loss of interest, some drama, and the popularity of discord caused many splinter groups to form, eventually leaving NODO to die. Having recently lost a parent way too early, it's hard for even me to imagine the struggle you must have went through in a situation like that. I am glad your time here made you forgot some of that pain. And even though we two never really interacted with each other, me and the other bois still occasionally remember and talk about you. Don't know if you are going to log onto the forums again to read this (most people don't anymore ), so I'll make sure to add you on discord and give you a pointer towards some of the splinter groups that formed, if you are interested in racing or interacting with some people (but there aren't many OGs racing anymore)

Hey bud! Glad to see you after all these years. Shoutout to you as well old friend! I actually have the same hopes as you for the community to resurrect itself if/when a new game comes, even though I do recognise how unrealistic that dream is. Never will give up hope though. This community will always have a special place in my heart. The amazing memories I have from everything we did together will probably never fade, and the fact that some of my absolute best (now real life) friends came from here is incredible to me. Thanks for making me think back on it one more time. Much love from the older and cooler me 😎
