Road course track would be Motorsports Ranch in Cresson, Texas, but there is the Texas Motor Speedway that NASCAR races on. Actually closer to us is Eagles Canyon Raceway, 2.4 mile road course in Decatur. Fun track! Well, Eagles Canyon may be closer to us, but i have never raced on the track, so i can not consider it my home track. I have raced on both MSR Cresson and the Texas Motor Speedway (On the Speedway for Laps for Charity, and the road course portion of TMS through SCCA) so I can consider both my home track.

If you have $150 to blow on a race day, Eagles Canyon is a pretty awesome track. That $150 gets you access for the entire day, and I believe a driving instructor ride along if you need it, as well. They host a racing school there as well as hot lap track days. As far as the track in Cresson, I haven't been, but it looks like a pretty good place as well. Do they normally only let you race on the left half or right half of the track or do they open up the entire circuit to race on (both sides per lap)?

It really depends on the event they are running, I have raced both sides individually and the entire course from three separate events, the SCCA's Track Night in America.

Sounds fun, I'll see about checking them out this coming year.

Closest track to me is the New England Dragway. I only go for the MX101 right next to it though, I have a Raptor 700RSE and a 250 Honda.

The IndyCar St Pete GP circuit is the closest for me. For permanent circuits, Sebring and Daytona are closest.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway I think is the closest major racing track to me, but I've never been there. It's a huge NASCAR oval, not sure which type though (Some ovals have larger distances than others, obviously). As far as RL tracks I've been to, I've gone to the K1 Speed karting track in greater Boston, which is really cool. I like that track a lot but I haven't gone in about a month.
For videogames, my Grand Tour or my Off Campus tracks are my home turf. Grand Tour is by far my most famous track, and Off Campus was like my Grand Tour, but for PS3. A simple track that just worked pretty well.

Closest major race track would be Queensland raceway (about a 2 hour drive) but the closet track is Morgan Park. I go up there about every week for motocross (cause it have everything up there) AND it's only a 5 min drive. Ain't that cool
