From the silence here, I'll assume everyone is too busy exploring the Commonwealth to care about anything else.
And here I am, without Fallout 4 and really wanting it now.
Scum.

Last night i spent 7 hours building a house/commons/fort. ive spent most of today planting carrots and melons and crafting defences for 5 settlements.
ive sided with a paladin from the BOS and im trading in diamond city and thats about it! ive not even scratched the the surface.
and to say its been fuckin amazin so far would be an understatement.

This is my first Fallout game and I love it. Need for Speed didn't last me more than 5 days so I decided I'd take the risk and get it. I absolutely loved Skyrim and this has the same feel. Bethesda never fail to disappoint.

Just a tip for newbies coz ive never seen it mentioned anywhere...
In your list of QUESTS one of them is the main storyline. Dont do too much of it too quick or you will lose the chance to do the others.
I found this out the hard way on my first playthru of fallout 3. i completed my story without doing LOADS of other quests coz i only follwed the main storyline.

I've barely touched the main storyline because I keep getting sidetracked by other quests and other things to do in the game. It's overwhelming in a good way.

I'm a little leery of doing too many sidequests. In New Vegas, all I did was explore, explore, sidequests, explore, and I ended up clearing out some places/loot before activating the quest for it. IIRC, it didn't exactly affect the outcome for every one, but it did make a couple of them glitchy. So far, I've only explored a few areas and done a couple quests (side and main), but I'm trying to keep myself from going too far off-course while trekking to my next main quest destination. I spent a few distracted hours walling off Sanctuary though... Quick review: Love it. Not sure if there'll be more later, but initial radio/music selection is a bit limited. I don't mind it and like the music, but it's already driving my wife crazy ADVICE: Make multiple save files at vital points of the story/main/side quests, or before you make an important decision. This is so you can go back and explore different avenues before making a final decision.

Got Fallout 4. Not very far in, {Spoiler}I still have to go to Diamond City to find Shaun off the tip of the addict chick but otherwise, I've been mostly ignoring the main questline and focusing on the side missions. Mostly been focusing on upgrading my weapons as well, but the constant shortage of Adhesive is getting on my nerves. For some reason, I found a second Minigun as well, but well, a second minigun is redundant at this point and scrapping it is a waste because it breaks down to only 8 Steel.

Plant, at least, 3 corn, 3 mutfruit, and 3 tato. Harvest them, go to your cooking station, add some purified water, and you'll receive Vegetable Strach which is an adhesive.
