I know we are all hooked in the Motorsports as that is what has bonded all of us together, but I just want to see if some of us have more common interests than just cars. I'm not sure how many people watch or play any basketball. But it would be interesting to know the people who do Game 3 is tonight, series tied 1-1 Who are you guys cheering for? Who do you think will win? (Yes, answers can be different)

I had the warriors prior to the series starting and when Irving got injured I thought the cavs were done, but now i'm leaning towards the cavs. And i'm rooting for the cavs just because I always root for the underdog. They play so hard like their life depends on it, it's awesome.

I have always hated LeBron and was always against him (being a Celtics fan) but I always respected his athleticism and will to win (not competitive though)
His return to bring a championship back to Cleveland was much respected.
I am rooting for the Cavs to win now simply because I believe this will be LeBron's only chance on ever winning the finals with the Cavs before the East starts to recover again next season.
I thought the Warriors had this easy, and even with Irving injured, watching Game 1 and 2, it is easy to tell that the Cavs have a good chance in winning.

I'm honestly torn, between my birth-area (born in the Bay Area) team and second favorite Western team (Golden State, only behind Portland, unless the Sonics return to the NBA) and having another team get their first championship (Cleveland obviously). I'm just glad it's not the Lakers, Mavs, or Spurs.

Cavs put real dedication to what they do. First 2 matches were incredible. Its extraordinary that Warriors found a way to stick to games and go to overtime for the 2 games and managed to win 1 of them which were dominated by Cavs from the start. I don't like neither Cavs nor Warriors. All I can say is who ever is the best may win

Not much of a basketball fan. I wouldn't say I hate it, but I'll look for something else to watch if it's on.
However, it is interesting to watch the hype my coworkers put into it and they're requirement to watch it if it's on. Personally, I thought Warriors would take it in 6, but not so sure now...

I really don't want either team to win. Don't like LeBron, really don't like the Warriors. But I think the LeBronites got it.

I picked the Warriors in 6 also. Sticking to my pick though. If the Warriors win games 4 and 5 which they absolutely need to then I think it will be because they are redhot. If they are redhot going into game6 its a wrap. I also felt that in the 4th quarter Curry finally started figuring out how to counter Delly and I expect him to come out guns blazing in game 4. He just needs to drive to the rim more and be a little more choosey about his 3point shots. Game 2 should of been a win for GSW if Curry had just drove on a couple of those 3 point attempts. Literally 1 basket would of won them the game. In game 3 GSW had absolutely no business coming back from that deficit and thats primarily why I think Curry has Delly figured out now. He calmed down, took some layups and finally started hitting some 3s once Delly had to respect the possibility of a drive. Thats what he needs to do right out of the gate in game 4. If that happens I feel confident in GSW in 6 still. My main takeaway from this series is everything rides on Steph. When he is hitting shots and not turning the ball over the Cavs cannot stop GSW at all. Lebron is playing his heart out and he must continue to do that for the Cavs to have a chance. Even then though so much more rides on what Curry is doing. We know Lebron is going to do his thing for 3 and a half quarters no matter what. Curry cannot allow his team to get run off the floor in the first 3 quarters. He is the engine that makes this machine work much like Lebron is for the Cavs. The difference is Lebron is a runaway freight train that cant be stopped and Curry has proven he can take himself out of the game by allowing Delly to dictate his shots. The matchup between Curry and Delly is the deciding factor for me. If the Cavs win I expect Lebron to give the finals MVP to Delly along with any gift he can imagine. Cars, house, jewelery ect. Also if the Cavs win Lebron surpasses MJ in my book. I know that might be blaspheming for some people but this perfomance is all time great. MJ had so much help despite his greatness and this GSW team has no business losing to the Cavs who are missing 2 All-Stars. All that said I still have GSW in 6 so that should show how much faith I have in the Cavs. For the record Im an OKC fan and couldnt give a shit who wins on a personal level but this is a DAMN good series and a much watch if you even moderately interested in basketball.

Thing is, everyone expected that Golden State will win at 6, but I don't think they ever thought that they would ever be tied and now down. After Game 1, I realized even as Golden State had won, they won a tight game. This just showed that the Cavs were ready for the West despite the weak East.
I think the Cavs will win in 6. They will win Game 4 in Cleveland, lose Game 5 in Golden State and then win at home in Game 6.

Trowa, I pretty much agree with everything you said, except the OKC thing (I am a die-hard Portland fan).

Trowa, I pretty much agree with everything you said, except the OKC thing (I am a die-hard Portland fan). Durants my boy! Been watching him since he was a freshman at Texas and when the Supersonics moved I finally had a home team to root for. Im from KC so the closest teams to me before were Denver(and I will eat cyanide before I root for a denver team) and the Bulls which would of been a real bandwagon move to root for them growing up with MJ and all. Until OKC came around I was just a silent observer. Now I got a horse in the race, even if that horse didnt qualify this year xD
