So I felt this had to be made because I didn't see a thread for it (or at least not an active one). I know a lot of people aren't excited for heists anymore, but I still am, because I really can't wait to plan and execute difficult heists with my friends (or maybe some crew members.) money grinding missions is really dumb, though maybe you need a certain amount of JP after every heist as "cool down time" while Lester gets you your money. I understand that we're not gonna be earning millions, but maybe the first one would be a hundred thousand split between four people or so, and the heists get bigger and bigger. I want them to be as difficult as the payout demands, but I want it to feel rewarding and challenging. I'm just so sick of feeling like the only thing I'm ever doing is grinding.

I just hope the payout is worth the time spent. If I have to spend 45 minutes to an hour doing this and only get 20k, I'll never do them again.

I also feel like maybe there should be a heist leader who decides payout. If a random dude joins your heist and griefs people, then you won't want him to get a fair cut.

And there should be a heist ladder to climb. Lester obviously references our multiplayer characters in SP ("there's someone I've been working with... Nah, they're too unpredictable") so our characters are obviously pulling off decent heists to even have Lester consider them for the jewelry store job. Xbox 360: TribunaryBump20

Imo I'm not excited for heists to come out but im optimistic that R* will deliver an experience that is fun and rewarding to the players that played the game fairly and didn't cheat their way to ridicolous amounts of money with glitches. If i do play heists it will certainly be with NoDo players that i trust will share out the money evenly if it is the leader that does decide the payout. Random players are just too unpredictable. I for one know that if I'm the leader of the heist i will share the money because I'd feel guilty taking it all for myself.

Xbox 360: TribunaryBump20 Maybe have some kind of heist reputation system. After every heist, players like, dislike, or no vote the other crew members. We could all have a heist likability stat, kind of like mental state.

That applies to races also tho. Top payout of 20k even if.its two hours I don't do races for the money though. Races are purely entertainment for me. I look at heists as money only. If they turn out to be fun, that's a plus, but it will still have to pay well for me to consider doing multiple.

Heists

I don't like the idea that heists are going to be cops vs. robbers. There is too much that can go wrong and if the reward is less than $100k each than the payout isn't going to be worth the time spent. Like many others people have pointed out, supposedly there are going to be something 4 thieves against 16 cops. That seems like too many people for the outdated hardware to handle. Besides no one is going to want to play the cops it's going to take forever to fill a lobby.
I would like to see Heist use the classic MMO raid classes, like healer, tank and DPS (or controller & DPS like in DC universe). Tanks could have special armor like the type used in the Paleto Bay bank robbery in story mode, healers could act like medics for instance they could call Merryweather for health drops. You could also have controllers that could call for ammo drops. DPS could have double damage and tanks could have reduced damage. IMHO 8 players, 2 of each class, against an AI would be plenty. Also they should have check points where progress is saved.

I agree with all of the above except check points. I feel like if the payout is high enough, it'll be worth the risk

Also, I was thinking the heist rep thing too. I know this crew is fair in all we do, so I have no issue with trusting any of your guns by my side, just like I would trust you to not spin me out in a race.
