So, Trowa brought it up in the Slack chat that it appears to be impossible to replicate Broughy's T20 results on Old Gen and I have to admit I was stunned by Broughy's results today as all I've been seeing on PS3 all day is people going much faster in the Osiris. I just did back to back 15 lap sessions on CC and with the Osiris and T20, tried to take the exact same safe lines and went over a second quicker in the Osiris. It's not just the laptime though, something just doesn't "feel" right about it. I was really starting to hate the rigid style of the Osiris but having driven it immediately after the T20 it felt like an absolute dream and ridiculously easier to go fast with. Also, cloudmcshort came over from PC and said the T20 feels completely different on PS3 and we have Trowa's testimony from 360. The conclusion seems to be that it may be broken on old gen. Can anyone else add any evidence to back this up/disprove it etc? And if it's true, how do we go about getting them to patch this? If we pay the same price as new gen, we should get the same car.

Ofcourse, you have to take it with a grain of salt because it could just be that we're terrible Jokes aside, I actually felt like it was harder to control on the PS3, I even made my T20 on PS3 an exact copy of my OC one and it just felt different to drive.. If this is a thing, I feel kinda bad for the OG players that they probably spend 2 million dollars on a car that they think is faster but in reality, it doesn't perform.. It's kinda shitty.

As you know I've driven a few laps with it on old gen, and I honestly struggled with it. On PS4 I always move the camera while taking the corners, while I barely do that on PS3 since it causes lagg. I assumed the camera made it harder, and the curbs on CC were a huge factor for me to not drive comfortably with it as well. I'll test this tomorrow. If it was the case, I wouldn't be suprised.

After playing on ps3 again a few weeks ago and seeing all the bugs and crap rendering, which seems to have gotten worse since the heist update,I would not be surprised if something was wrong with the T20,either a bug or the old systems simply not being able to handle it.

The problem is, Rockstar are charging 2.2m for the car on all platforms so if people have used their real money to purchase Shark Cards for a T20 on Old Gen and they are getting an inferior car compared to people on Old Gen, Rockstar could be in murky waters there.
Cold hard cash is the same on any console generation.

Definitely seems like this is the case. When testing on the North Loop earlier Trowa and I were a good 10 seconds off of our personal bests after three laps. When the Osiris came out, we were both around 3 seconds off of our pb's after just 3 laps I recall. Couldn't get within 3 seconds of Broughy's time on ccgp either. Somethings not right. The understeer is hellacious.

I'm thinking of buying the T20 but won't unless they sort this out. I definitely prefer it to the Osiris based on what I've experienced with both so far. It'd take up about 95% of my cash at the moment and I'd be happy to stick with my Zentorno until then.

I've used Kelevera's T20 on next gen and Trowa's on old-gen. There is a remarkable difference in the handling characteristics between the consoles. On old gen it was apparent the car has massive turn-entry understeer. Me and Trowa did laps around CC+ and CC with me in a Zentorno, and we were getting near identical lap times. Consecutive corners are the T20s bane on old gen.
It's been proven Trowa is a better driver than me, so the fact that he was getting the same times as me despite the skill gap proves, IMO, the car is inferior on old-gen.
I personally think it's related to the car's active spoiler. The animation is probably causing some frame drops. Either that, or a decimal is out of place for the car's handling stats.

I personally think it's related to the car's active spoiler. The animation is probably causing some frame drops. Either that, or a decimal is out of place for the car's handling stats. That's exactly it. Last night, I ran some laps on CC with the T20 then went straight to the Osiris to do the same. Up until then, I was really starting to get sick of the Osiris for being far too stiff and rigid with understeer but I was shocked that after driving the T20, the Osiris suddenly felt like an absolute dream, steering as smoothly as a hot knife through butter compared to the T20. It was quite shocking compared to how rigid the Osiris felt before I had the T20 to compare it to. As a result, you need to break unrealistically early for high speed turns with the T20 or the understeer makes them impossible. Obviously, this problem doesn't occur on current gen.

Maybe the spoiler has no effect on old gen?

Maybe the spoiler has no effect on old gen? Could be possible. I was really disappointed when I did some laps on downtown underground. With my Osiris I cracked one pb after the next, but with the famed T20 I was seconds per lap away from that times. I couldn't believe it.
