*possible spoiler alert*
Has anyone here noticed the dragon going through the clouds just before the great battle scene happens at Hardhome in S05E08 (the latest episode as of writing this post)?
It is barely visible, but I'm convinced it is supposed to be a dragon up there. You can see the shadow of its body waving the clouds. It's at about 2:24-2:28 in this video, top right portion of the screen, just slightly above the rocks.
I was waiting for Drogon (I think that's the black dragon of Daenerys' name) to appear in the battle after seeing that the whole time, but nothing happened. Tell me you see it too, and it's not just me seeing things!

{S5E8} Renegade1911 I just don't see what you are talking about. I am looking forward to the last 2 episodes and the dragons coming into play a lot more. So happy more of the show is focused on the white walkers right now. For me as we stand right now I am wanting more dragons and white walkers.

I was waiting for Drogon (I think that's the black dragon of Daenerys' name) to appear in the battle after seeing that the whole time, but nothing happened. Tell me you see it too, and it's not just me seeing things! I don't see it, but a lot of reviewers are wondering what the Others have up their sleeve to battle the dragons. The battle would be fairly one sided if they have no response to a flying animal that breaths the one thing that can devastate their army of wights, and potentially themselves too. More here, but click the spoiler tag only if you've read the books or just want more information: First off, did you know there is now a subreddit called "FuckOlly"? For non-book readers, the character of Olly doesn't exist. But since the show can't spend as much time building the relationships between Jon and the other crows not named Samwell, it fits a show's scheduling to give the role of Jon's murderer to a young, confused boy who lost his parents to the very group of people Jon is trying to rescue now. It doesn't help Tormund is part of this group, since he was one of those who attacked Olly's village.
Overall, while this episode was great... it saddens me to await the tragic scene that undoubtedly awaits Jon in the season finale. I originally got the first book of GoT in 1998, a softback that had on it's cover Jon Snow. It took me several chapters to decide who the person on the cover was (clearly a man, while Jon is an immature teenager in the first book). But I've always been a fan of Jon, and it's always been readily apparent he was the hero of the saga, even without the R+L=J theory (unknown at the time, for sure).
Finally, don't worry, Jon will be back, most likely resurrected by Melisandre. She'll probably be coming back to Castle Black after (I'm predicting) Stannis get's killed by Brienne after she inadvertantly prevents Ramsay from getting killed when she tracks his ambush party through the woods. Without Stannis, the army crumbles, and the fire priestess runs back to her next choice of Azor Ahai. Luckily, she learned from Thoros of Myr (in the show) how to raise the dead.
P.S. Anyone else think the Lord of Light and the Great Other are actually two devils, and there is no "good" god? It reminds me of the old Dragonlance pendulum framework, except theirs swung from good to evil. In this world, I think it swings from one extreme evil to the other. Frost Zombies? Stone (Grayscale, Dragonscale) Zombies? Both sides can raise the dead, both are willing to sacrifice innocents to fuel their armies/power?

Ser Tandur I do. I see. I believe! We saw Drogon heading towards Westeros few episodes prior, he'd easily be able to fly there by then. Also I don't think what the books say is really relevant at this point, the producers could make up anything. I didn't click your spoiler btw.

He could have been flying East, back towards Mereen. *shrug*

I actually noticed it the second time watching the episode but I thought it was just me seeing things. Has the same motion as Drogon when he flew over Tyrion and Jorah. Oooooo the suspense, wonder why it was there.

Maybe not. Still got (atleast) 2 seasons to go. Yeah I don't know how long it takes to fly from one continent to the other (not very much I guess) but I'm still hoping maybe it'll appear during the upcoming (probably?) battle at The Wall.

Well there still might be a dragon wrecking stuff on the Wall, but it probably wasn't Drogon, in the light of the latest episode.

Honestly, I couldn't remember how many of Daenerys' are free at this point in the story. I suppose it could be a wild one...
