4v4 sounds good purely from a connection point of view it should make things stabler. The only downside to this is that only 4 people from each console get to play. So we could do PS3 1, PS3 2, XBOX 1 and XBOX 2 teams if the demand is high enough (it's looking like it might be). I like the look of these rules overall. The preferences I would have are: - Contact always on. - Catchup, slipstream, traffic and wanted levels all off. - Stock cars only is an interesting option. Maybe leave that down to the captains to decide when discussing tracks with the racers on his team. Naturally, there will be debate between and within crews as to what settings/preferences to have so best get opinions in early so we can hurry up and get to racing! :) We can have a pro team and an amateur team for both crews if we do decide to split the competition.

If there's still a PS3 spot open, I'll jump in! :-)

Although I'd love to race, I think we should all put our egos aside and let the proven best drivers on each platform represent us. This is a crew effort, after all, not an individual one. And Broughy should be on the lineup. He's our leader and our leader and I'm convinced his skills aren't as rusty as he claims. A few practice laps and he'll be back in business. He could also stream the races for the rest of us, should circumstances allow. As for the races, I think they should definitely be with contact on. Also aboutt 5-6 laps long, so they don't take too much time, but are long enough to eliminate some of the randomness that can happen and let the fast racers claim their rightful finishing positions.

That sounds fair. Too bad I'll never make the cut with such superstar competition.

i think we should have qualifying races to determine the participants, that way more people will have a shot at a place.

i think we should have qualifying races to determine the participants, that way more people will have a shot at a place. I agree with this completely. Obviously we all want the strongest racers to represent the crew but simply selecting racers on reputation alone is not fair. The last thing we would want is to create a segregation within the crew, with some people being overlooked without a fair chance. Qualifying races are a very good idea, that way the best racers go through to represent the crew as opposed to picking people with out and out speed i.e. the hot lap leaders.

I agree with haydugjr. I too do not own a Z-type nor plan on buying one therefore the stock car idea seems good to me.

As someone who races with Shaggy's crew often, it would be a bit unfair if we did contact races in all of the races because non-contact is literally the only thing they do when they race seriously nowadays. My solution to non-contact vs contact would be half the races be contact and the other half be non-contact.
