No, not a commissioner writing this. No, not here to give out tips either.
I'm here to ask tips from the people who will be testing the tracks what exactly they are looking for. Things like their preference of layout or props.
I've also been having the problem of choosing between tracks, people could possibly post a pic of the map of their tracks here and gather the community's (and the tester's) opinion of which would be a better track.
Hoping more questions from the community will arise to allow us to edit our tracks to better suit the specific preference of what the people testing are looking for.
If a commissioner can also help by finding a better name for this thread, that would be helpful.

I'm not a tester or anything, even though I would love to be one, but I would suggest being unique. Think, "What would most people submit?" and make the opposite. I bet most people would submit city tracks, airport tracks, and things like that, so my submission is a Vinewood hills track. I bet the least submissions will be from Paleto Bay and Grapeseed, but it's hard to make a track that is memorable there, one that stands out from the crowd. If you can pull that off, I would say you have better chances of being picked.

I would suggest checking the old Broughy Verified playlists and see what sort of things are in there, but I wouldn't take to much from that. Over the time creator has been out and the introduction of 100 props, track creation has come along way and people are finding more and more creative things to do, honestly I think the best thing to do is ask people in the Slack chat what they regularly play and love. I'd recommend checking out tracks from LancerEvo, Pardonias, OpalEscentFalcon and Fachuro (cant tag on mobile). All creators of very high quality tracks with varying degrees of design philosophy, some you may or may not agree with but people love them all the same! I guess the only thing to say is that there isn't a magic formula to build by, just make what you think is good and take on any feedback you get!

I second what Loz said - there is no set formula or norm but like Mid said, you could try and utilize a unique location on the map - that would be a bonus. As for the sort of track - Broughy did specify nothing longer than 4/5 mins in a Super car and less than 1 minute. Also, in my opinion, a large portion of the submitted tracks will almost certainly be dominated by City/airport tracks.

I think airport tracks are already old and boring.

Just a tip from looking at the map, you don't need a million repair wrenches. It actually makes the track worse because it becomes damn near impossible to see where to go on the pit lane because of the bloom. Really you only need 2-3. I would also say both of these tracks don't really seem that unique. Obviously I haven't raced them but it's really hard to make a special airport track and a ton of people will submit airport tracks, and also most grapeseed tracks use all those roads that yours has so I don't think it would be smart to submit. You need to submit something people can actually remember after testing a ton of tracks because a tester will forget all the boring and not so special tracks. They will remember the unique ones, the great tracks.

These mid air wrenches could be very useful.

These mid air wrenches could be very useful. I know another way of stacking props but will try this with the wrenches cause I've been trying to get those mid-air wrenches for so long.

It's the same method for mid air checkpoints too. (Not that will help you in this). I also hope that there isn't a NoDo bias in the track selection. The best tracks I've played aren't by Nodo creators. However, Pardonias's Fever Pitch is up there.

These mid air wrenches could be very useful. I had noticed Lancer has done this on Over and Under Bridges, I didn't realise it was possible to pick them up though, this will certainly be the way to do it if that is the case!
