Okay so since there has been increasing talk about tracks for this I might as well make the decision I've been leaning towards for a while: The circuits used for MCEC 3 will be LSGP, NL, OGP, BC24 & RONR. There will be two rounds on each with variations in a number of aspects between each round. More details on that in future but basically both races on LSGP won't be the same, and it won't just be the cars separating them. This championship has always been more about the different vehicles used than the tracks and I really don't have the energy to go through another selection process of different circuits after BV (even if BV tracks were the basis of the initial selection). The history of the championship has been on my circuits and everyone knows them, meaning those who don't have as much time to put in won't be at as much of a disadvantage. If anyone has a problem with the track selections speak up now so I can remove you from the signup list before the main thread starts. I can also announce that there will be 10 different classes used. We're basically cutting out the repeated sports classes from MCEC 2 and replacing them with sports classics and vans. If anyone has any opinions on car selections together with class+track combinations again speak up now before the main thread is up. I'm not going to get in a big discussion about it but I will use any thoughts to better make my own decisions on this aspect. Finally I expect that the championship will be starting a little later than initially advertised. Possibly early march rather than early feb. What I intend to do is in early jan I'll create the main thread and tag all the signups. This thread will be used to organise all 3 platforms and will contain the full race calendar with dates, tracks, cars, and any extra information. I'll then go through the process of choosing the drivers and assigning them to a GT, finally culminating in the usual live team draw on a live stream for all three platforms. Then we'll be in full swing to get the championship sorted. As I said though I'll tag everyone who has signed up when that main thread goes up. At the moment we have about 70 signups for PS4 with 40 for XB1 and PC. It's very possible there will be a secondary championship on PS4 to allow those who don't get in the main championship to participate in something. I expect this would be a bit smaller at 5 rounds with GT4 & GT5 so to speak (possibly 1hr races too instead of 1hr30), and take place before the regular PS4 race on alternating weeks. Details will follow in the new year though. No Route 13 Figure 8 Circuit?

BC24h - Sports Classics & Off-Road It's the track that makes the most sense for the Off-Road class, same reason you picked it last year. And as for Sports Classics its well known this is your favourite class on the track, so it would only make sense for you to be using those classes there. I suspect you might've already had this thought yourself too. LSGP - Sedans & Coupes Considering that our most succesful round here last season was in compacts, using more high-traction based classes would make sense. Based on car size and manouverability I think Sedans and Coupes would make the most sense, cancelling out the high kerb-boosting factor we had with compacts somewhat as well as the general pace will be a little quicker. OGP - SUVs & Vans Considering past events and stream races, I think most people would agree that the SUV round was the best OGP round last season, and that in general in streams and what not SUVs and Vans have led to the least chaotic and most enjoyable races on this track. They just generally handle the bumpy nature in some of the areas better. Even though it might be better to use a variant with the hospital section pulled back to where it is on the new CCGP, just to reduce the risk of getting a massive pileup if someone crashes there. NL - Sports & Muscle Not particular reasoning here, mainly a result from my reasoning behind the other choices. Plus these classes are generally nice to race on North Loop as well. RONR - Supers & Compacts I think one of the best selections we could see this season would be the compacts round being done on the short variation of Ron Raceway. You've already done this on stream a couple of times, and its worked out really well every time. In my opinion that one is a no-brainer. As for supers, I think thats the class most people would be most familiar with on this track ever since it was released, so using the super class here would just generally make for better, cleaner racing. I like the classes. My suggestions for the cars would be: BC 24HSports ClassicsGT1 Z-Type GT2 Stinger GT/Mamba GT3 Manana Off-roadNo Idea LSGPSedansGT1 Schafter Or Schafter V12 Armored GT2 Intruder Cognoscenti 55 GT3 Super Diamond Premier CoupesGT1 Jackal GT2 Cognoscenti Cabrio GT3 Windsor OGPVansGT1 Gang Burrito GT2 Paradise GT3 Burrito SUV'sGT1 Baller LE GT2 Dubsta GT3 Seminole NLSportsGT1 Verlierer GT2 Buffalo GT3 Khameleon MuscleGT1 Dominator GT2 Gauntlet/Vigero GT3 Picador/Virgo/Nightshade RONSupersGT1 Osiris GT2 Vacca GT3 Bullet Compactsno clue

For Supers, using Vacca and Bullet again seems a bit... well, lazy. I know its hard to balance (and those two are naturally far apart from the other cars), but I'd rather we use some of the other ones. I guess do some testing on the actual track with the other ones to make sure there's a big enough gap in laptimes there rather than choosing them based off CCGP laps. Its also possible to just run some cars without a spoiler to make their lap times slower too I suppose. And that said, I think there should be testing on the actual track with each GT before actually setting them in stone. Its funny the first time around when a GT2 car is faster than GT1, but GT2 is supposed to be slower

fachuro I do like your suggestions, but I would love to race muscle cars on BC24h.

but GT2 is supposed to be slower Tell that to Nick Tandy & Patrick Pilet. Anyone who gets that reference deserves a cookie. Lots of them.

When is the end of the sign-up fase? i'd love to join but seeing as the PC MCEC is on 21.00 UTC and i'm in the UTC+1 zone that would make me have to play until midnight. that leaves me unsure... Basically sign up phase ends when the participants have been released.

Its funny the first time around when a GT2 car is faster than GT1, but GT2 is supposed to be slower GT2 is supposed to be slower allover for the championship, but as pointed out earlier even though the example might be more driver-dependent it doesn't necessarily have to be that way for a single event. Classification of the cars is mainly done for the sake of the constructor championships to make sure people have a fair competition with the drivers they compete against I agree that we should try to get some testing done after the classes are decided this year though to tailor the car selections a bit more to the individual circuits. So you don't necessarily run into issues like the Sentinels overtaking the Zions last year on the OGP straight after just having been lapped and what not because of the higher top speed. This also makes the gaps very different to certain other cars, so say on a track like RON Raceway, especially if the High Speed Ring Variant or a similar variant was chosen. The Voltic would probably be in dead last for performance because of the lack of top speed. Then we could maybe see combinations such as Turismo R, Cheetah and Voltic or something like that. That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing many of last years combinations make a return either as I very much enjoyed racing them and wouldn't mind doing so again I'll reply seperately to Oh Darns msg after a few more posts has been made by others to avoid double-posting and making a wall of text. But I like some of the suggestions and have some suggestions for alterations on some ;-)

I've only signed up as a reserve so this is more of a fan's POV. My ideas for the classes/cars to be used on each track is as follows:
Muslce - BC24h
Sports - NL
Compacts - LSGP
Super - RON Raceway
The rest I don't have a clear track that stands out to suit it, but those 4 I feel bests suit those tracks
