i like using windows 10 Xbox app recording i dont think i even lose frames while using it (at least not noticable for me) so if you have Win 10 i would suggest you try that.

no idea i just pressed the Xbox button on my controller press A on the record thing and it starts recording (i also use it to save the last 3mins on any game i play)
Edit: like darn said i dont have any other recording software on my PC not even AMDs (card doesnt support/allow it)

you have to press it a few times and it will come up with a prompt saying is this a game you will click yes (sorry for not mentioning this). I have even done this in the desktop. i got it working as well pressing Win + G. Only pressed this combination once.

Only pressed this combination once. just looked it up on microsoft's site, "If a PC game is in full-screen mode, the Game bar will be blocked from opening."... fo real doe :/ |

I use nVidia ShadowPlay: www.geforce.co.uk/geforce-experience/shadowplayOBS recording dropped me from 60 to 40, ShadowPlay it stayed at 60FPS, much better imo and has some really nice features, like being able to record the past 20 minutes if you missed something cool. i'd almost say it's worth getting an nvidia gpu just for that feature.. it's so good One thing about shadowplay, I don't know if this is just me, but a good 1/20 of my shadowplay files get corrupted and some of the ones that don't get weird graphical distortion. The video below is the worst case of it I've had Not saying shadowplay isn't great, just that it seems to be a bit temperamental |

Blade died for our sins pretty weird, never had such a problem with shadowplay. But one question, why is the video in 50 fps?
