Just want to say I hope all of you and yours are safe, and I hope it remains that way.

I watched the killcount grow in the news, from 20 to 40, only to wake up today and read that there are over 120 dead. Truly horrifying.
It was also sad to read that someone has started a fire in a refugee camp in Callais in reaction to the attacks.
I hope all our french members are safe, along with their families and friends.

Terrible news but the best we can do is stay strong. Never give in to this kind of terrorism.
My thoughts are with the victims and their families.

It was also sad to read that someone has started a fire in a refugee camp in Callais in reaction to the attacks. This sort of knee-jerk reaction is just as sad as the incident itself and only adds more fuel to the fire. It's that kind of hatred which what they want. The act itself provokes hatred which they will use to recruit the marginalised and hated ones. Many immigrants and refugees are immigrants and refugees because they're fleeing this very same kind of terror, they're not here to cause it.

Thoughts to the families of those affected. Glad to hear some of the French NoDos I know are fine (there are probably more and I hope they're okay), and the people I know studying in Paris are okay too.
This kind of a tragedy makes me sick. Firstly there's nothing accomplished here. If it's IS the whole world won't start worshipping Islam because of this, if it's not IS, then whatever they want won't be achieved either.
The Brazilian Football Coach, Dunga, said something I could not agree with more. He talked about living in a world of diversity, culturally, politically, economically and religiously. These attacks come through intolerance of some sort, a disagreement with a way of life of belief.
This needs to stop. Whoever is responsible action needs to be taken, serious action. This can't keep going on.
Thoughts and prayers with those affected.

It's terrible that someone could just heartlessly massacre so many innocent people. It's a true tragedy and I feel so sorry for the 127 murdered in these attacks and their family and friends.I'm sickened that these evil, twisted terrorists could hurt so many innocent people. However what is,perhaps even more frightening is some of the reactions I've seen in the comments section of Facebook posts, news sites, youtube etc.People saying "deport all the Muslims", "kill all the Muslims" and "Keep the refugees out".So much racism and islamophobia from hateful, racist bigots.I truly feel for the people who suffered during these horrific attacks, but condemning well over a billion people for the actions of a handful of terrorists and leaving thousands of refugees(who are fleeing partially because they are experiencing attacks like this regularly) to die,is certainly not the answer.

Hundreds of people have lost friends, relatives and loved ones. It's not only the casualties and wounded who are the victims. It's so pointless. Nothing but more hate and division and distrust comes from this.
On the bright side, the bombs didn't went of INSIDE the stadium. But that's just a tiny speck of light on this pitchblack event.
To all French NoDo: I wish you and your loved ones are all allright, and if not you have my sympathy, and good luck!

Upset and horrified were my two initial reactions to last nights events but that was swiftly joined by anger. I could go on and on about this subject but that is best kept for another time and place. Surely this world does not have to get worse before it can get any better?

So a good friend of mine was in Paris for her birthday, everyone in our friends circle was frantically calling her when we realised what was happening but no answer. Thankfully her phone died and Facebook has this "... Has been marked safe" feature and she is fine. Taxi drivers were there taking as many people as they could to safe zones and then RETURNING back to get others. That's how she managed to get to safety. Amazing courage and I have the up most respect to them and all of the French emergency responses. Thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of those who tragically lost their lives yesterday.
Just as a side note. I have many Muslim friends and this morning one called me just to catch up. She was so emotionally distraught for 2 reasons. - Sadly she fears she may have lost a friend of hers who was currently studying in Paris - Her religion is being hijacked and used as a front for these extremists, simply for them to do whatever the fuck they want and at the end of the day turn around and say it was for a "just" cause. It's sickening to see and they need to be exterminated. IS do not represent Islam or the Muslim religion.

Firstly, glad to hear your friends ok dubz.
I also have a lot of muslim friends. While i can agree that they feel like their religion is being hijacked, i also feel that those people are moderates who dont sit in front of the koran tryin to memorise it. They just 'loosely' follow the bits they heard are good. It does teach to be racist in its most vile form and teaches to not accept non muslims as human.
Gladly, we debate these things and can still be good friends. You get killed for having a different opinion under religious rule. The catholics only stopped burning 'heretics' at the stake 500 years ago. (probably later ive not looked that up)
why cant people see that its being human or moreso 'being life' that connects us and religion/bad human ideas that divide.
RELIGION - JUST SAY NO! .

You have just said some very contraversial things thefroc. What do you know of Islam and what it preaches? I could find you many, many quotes that prove your claims as false, but instead I will just leave this one.

I could find you many, many quotes that prove your claims as false, but instead I will just leave this one. A kuffar (non-muslim) is not considered an innocent in isis' wahabbiist view. And my dad is a muslim. From a muslim country. Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" Quran (9:123) - "O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness." etc etc etc etc etc etc But yeah maybe leave this one since we're on a car computer game forum! lol This made me think of these words...vid starts at the right bit. note: if you watch in youtube all the comments are about Paris.

An absolute needless waste of life. Religion does not come into this, they are cowards and terrorists front and foremost. Terrorism has no religion. To all the narrow minded simpletons out there, getting angry at the Islamic faith is exactly what they wanted to happen from this attack. The 1% of Muslims who are extremists do not speak and act for the rest. I feel mostly for the innocent people who died and all the families affected but secondly I feel for the Muslims who will be discriminated even more by absolute idiots. They feel just as bad about this as you do. In a time where humanity needs to unite, do not unite against the innocent, unite against terrorism. Hopefully one day we can live in a world without them.

We cant unite until ALL religion is dead. The quest for the truth through the pursuit of knowledge and wonderment of the magnificence of the knowledge aquired should be where the human mind gets its spirituality. not from an ancient book written by a middle eastern shepherd thousands of years ago. Saying "religion doesnt come into this" is ignorant and its getting old. No offence vxwk <3 but the guys who did it were pretty religious! I bet that if they were never subjected to religion, they wouldnt have become terrorists. But hey thats just my opinion. (Religious first and foremost)
