Just in the little time I've been here, I've noticed our Calender is severely lacking. When I first joined, none of the September events I believe were listed. Now, most of the currently active PS3 events are listed... but none of the Xbox events.
I mostly ask because if we want members to be more active in the crew and partaking in crew events.... then shouldn't the crew calender be constantly up to date with active events, no matter the platform? There's an old saying.... you lead by example.
Sorry if this sounded snippy... but I've already mentioned this in at least 3 or 4 other threads, and nothing has been done about it.

Thank you, I was going to make a thread about this a while back but I kept forgetting. It's for that reason why we need to use this board feature more.
It'll not only help members to remember but also organise their own events so they don't clash with anything.

I was suggesting God, Senior, and Full members getting access to edit the calendar to ZeNzI, but an admin needs to see what can be done first. I strongly think the calendar will be more active if this is made a thing, but it's up to Broughy1322 or ikayos to see if it happens.

I try. I can't do it all since I'm not up to date for the events from Xbox side, I can't go trough all the threads to search a date or when ever it changes, I can't promote every xbox player, because I know nothing about the things that happen on the xbox side and I haven't got enough time to go trough it all. I'd rather do something not, than to do half work that is unfinished or wrong done.
Ppl can always send me a pm with the link to the thread and the date in it, if they want their event in the calendar. Or someone send me a pm with all the events that need to be added with the links to the thread and the date, because I haven't got enough time to go trough all the threads.

It is too much work for a single person to through each thread. We could create a thread where events not on the calendar can be posted with the confirmed date, time and console. Then a group of people would visit it maybe once per day, update the calendar and put an updated to this point post. The larger the group the less time it will take.

I also volunteer. I'm an admin of another PB forum and know a little bit about the behind scenes.

There's less than 30 threads of events. That's a cop out. I've already gone through every post in every thread while working on a secret little project of mine. What I have noticed is... people in the crew are not good about posting event race results.

I'm not bashing you, but it's easy to criticize the work (or lack of) of others. If you're unhappy with something, at least suggest a solution? Or lead by example and offer to take over the responsibility?

Or lead by example and offer to take over the responsibility? I do have plenty of free time... but I'm not a moderator or admin. Overall, this thread was a *hint hint* at those who's job it was to do such a thing to get off their arses and do it. I just didn't want to be blunt and rude about it. I'm a bit ornery today, had a rough night and morning with in-laws, so I apologize for my aggressive tone in posts today. Thinking logically, the question is: can threads only have one date on them, or can multiple dates be placed? if the latter is not possible, then an Event Date thread is needed in the Race Events subforum. As which my post is sufficient, the OP would just be updated by me when new events are launched and more dates for active events are announced.

I've been super busy with life, I haven't actually been in game since the flight school update. I try to lurk the forums when I can. I've updated the accessibility to the calender. Now editors and god/senior members can add or edit events. Sorry it took me so long to see this. I implemented the calendar so it could be used like this. Didn't account for me getting this busy and not being able to do anything with it.

One more thing... the Calender link does not show if you are not logged in or registered. IE, guests cannot see the Calender. As of the moment when I wrote this, there were 28 guests on the forum.
I discovered this when using the Dolphin browser on my Kindle Fire so I could watch broughy's twitch videos (it uses flash, Silk browser on Kindle doesn't work with flash).
