Hey cool kids, Although the GTA mode in Stunt Races has only been fixed somewhat recently, the last Cup was held about half a year ago already... D'oh! In these past months I've been searching for cool and original tracks, and I'm sure if I open my editor I'll find tens of tracks named "next cup maybe", "maybe cup", "grapeseed cup stunt new final" or "gdfihdfgd". All crap. So here I am today announcing that the Sunday Cup series is being discontinued for now. I enjoyed doing these a lot but doing it by myself proved to be quite difficult in the long term. I will very probably return to proposing you guys stuff that I enjoy later on, most likely with different formats. Hence, I guess fab. ICEMAN wins yet another title, congratulations! I have to thank a lot of people, that would be quite long actually as my spreadsheet lists 64 participants over all editions, but really the one guy who made this event possible is arken : his help with testing and balancing the cars was essential, and the whole format of the Cup and its 5 races is directly inspired from his go-kart competitions. GG :p Thanks everyone, and see you on some other racetrack, some other time! |
