I thought it was funny and it was pretty much my reaction when I read this last night I just didnt think of a witty meme to post.  All memes aside it sounds like you were in a lobby of modders and from what I can see Rockstar wasn't very helpful. Did you try the support forums as well? |

That was actually a funny meme  Yes he tried! But the only one who answered was like "you're too stupid to find the support's phone number!" and called us cheaters. It's a hopeless situation. |

Unfortunately there are no appeals for bans. Unless your friend has video proof he got the money dropped on him i doubt that rockstar will do anything he should just wait it out. If you do contact the zendesk help at support.rockstargames.com/hc/requests/new be sure to understand the automatic language filter which auto closes tickets without a human looking at it. Dont submit a request under "banning issue" submit under other for example. Also do not use words like banned or ban in full, split them up and such to trick the filter. Words like that will auto close the ticket. |

*UPDATE* It happened again! Fortunately noone got banned. But again we were doing a race on non contact and somehow after some laps contact was turned on. I even recorded how i got rammed by "RainerStoff91".
Rockstar really needs to do somethig against those hackers...
Concerning br3chi's fate: He is still banned.

As far as i know there was only one player from another country in the lobby (i guess from the US). The rest were Germans. Even the one who rammed me. And i can surely say he did it on purpose. What he did were not only some hits when cornering. He blocked the road and waited for me or just turned around and drove the track backwards trying to crash others. I am not quite sure if the fact that contact is on after some rounds is just coincedence...

Non contact races that turn into contact half way through the race! This has happened to me about 10 times this month, and half of the times just playing with a bunch of close friends, so Im pretty sure it has nothing to do with modders. Also sometimes it was just afecting half of the cars.

I'm no expert on this, but if I were to guess, I'd say the guys in the race reported Br3ch for cheating, out of pure spite. Then auto-ban kicked in. I don't think you get banned immidiately in GTA. With regular money cheating and modding they do ban waves every x amount of time and I highly doubt you can get auto-banned by 2 idiots reporting you in a race. If that would get you instnatly banned it would be abused constantly by trolls/griefers and the support pages would have been filled with complaints. I also had some encounters with randoms in a non contact race that went into contact mode and drivers that were half a lap behind and then suddenly got into 1st place just before the finish. This is the first month that I actually noticed cheating in races. I need more NoDo guys on my friend list for closed sessions |

If you are in the EU just contact EU consumer protection. If you can't get Rockstar to treat you as a respected consumer then don't give them the treatment they refuse to give you.
