I'd love to join but Friday does not work for me. Almost anytime Saturday past 5 in your time would be fine though. I could also make it if you pushed it back two hours, but I don't think that you guys in bst would enjoy racing at 11 o clock. Time zones suck

Sign me up.
My only (maybe) suggestion would be to have the Felon as one of the coupes. I'm fine with everything else.

Thanks for all the replies, I appreciate it. Since a few of our US? racers are pushed for time, would anyone have any objections to me moving it to next Saturday then? Or should I just keep the date as it is?

The current time is fine for myself, but 24 hours later (8pm BST 25 Oct) is fine too. Maybe Saturday would be better for others, since it would be noon here (PDT).

I'll sign up as a reserve for now, not too sure what I'll be doing then.

Jojoba oil, Pringles and a pair of tights are a great way to spend a Tuesday evening.

Maybe use both the Zion and Felon in the same class in Coupes as they are interchangeable.

Are track suggestion still open? If so I think it would be cool to race on cutting coroners gp because it's new. I don't mind the rockstar races, but I definitely prefer Broughy's races.

Yeah that's one of the tracks already. EDIT: I've also pushed the event back to Saturday so you should be able to join. Hope no one else has any issues with Saturday.

Thanks, I'll be able to make it, see you there . I also meant Cutting Coroners GP, the variation Broughy just made, not the rockstar one. Broughy's is much better in my opinion. I think it would be nice to put Los Santos Grand Prix, and The North Loop in as well because most people in the crew know and like them, but that's just a suggestion.

No the playlist is called "Rock*" (I think) it was created by Q something (I've bookmarked it but can't find the forum post) and includes custom built tracks such as Cutting Coroners GP and the LS GP. See you in the race! I want to get as many people as possible to race (we need at least 8) but it seems that the xbox side of the crew is slightly less active/smaller. Edit: It's Qexor, here is the link: nodo.freeforums.net/thread/759/nodo-creations-xbox-360

Is this multi-class? Because some of the car pairings have me befuddled. Some are very competitive against each other, a few others are a reach. Looking at the list, I know I could do 4 of the custom races, but depending on who I'm partnered with, I could be asked to buy 4 (5 for some) cars and get them upgrades in 9 days. But I'm a poor man online. A lot of those cars are likely owned by a lot of people. So I guess my next question is, when signing up, do we pick the group of cars we'd like to use? Or wait till we have a teammate? How soon b4 the races would we get paired so we can make sure we have the right cars? If any of this sounds negative, don't worry, because I'd like you to put me down, on a reserve list at the bottom. I'd like to see as many ppl as possible enter and ill just fill any last minute gaps. This doesn't sound negative at all, I am glad you are helping me iron out any possible issues and I will now try to answer your questions in order. 1. Yes this is multi-class, the reason being is, if it wasn't each track would most likely be won by the person with the best car, so I try to put in two competitive vehicles into each class and each person in a pair races in a different vehicle in that class. 2. Due to the costs, I made it so that 3 of the races will be in stock vehicles. That only leaves 5 classes to worry about. Now, for that reason I have chosen fairly common cars to increase the number of people who would own said cars. Chances are, you own the Feltzer and Massacro, Maybe the Sultan, the Exemplar is a beast in its class so you will probably have that as well as the Huntley and even if you don't have an off-road vehicle they are quite cheap. The real trouble comes in when you decide which cars you will race within your pairings. 3. Once you sign up, you will have to wait for a team mate to choose/co-operate on which cars each of you will drive. I have tried to make them as competitive as possible but with one car having an edge on the other, just to spice things up. Let me know your thoughts on just how close that edge is because you don't seem confident. I will also start allocating pairs as soon quite early on, either when we get 3 or 4 pairs together, or when Saturday rolls in: to give people 6 days to get the cars and plan their strategies. Let me know anything else you are uncertain about and I'll try and clear things up or any suggestions to my formula (since I am guessing you are a much more experienced racer than I am). Great guesses on my cars, I actually have the Zion instead of the Feltzer (and of course I have the Zentorno). I have the Zion still because of the MCEC and when I painted it our team's colors, I realized it was the closest vehicle in-game that resembles my real life car, a gold 2002 Ford Taurus. Ok, so after thinking about it a looong time, I think I finally realized what you are intending, which is that there are two classes (choices) in each race. Teammates cannot select the same car (class). Anyone can win the race. If this is the case, then a few of your choices will need to be tightened up to make them more competitive. The Sultan-Coquette, Huntley-Rocotto, Schafter-Primo, and Blista-Prairie all need a new choice to make them tighter. For example, the Sultan-Coquette, I have actually owned both of those cars, I know they aren't equal. Even off-road, the Sultan's AWD advantage isn't that awesome because IMO the Coquette is arguably the best off-road RWD sports car. Sorry about my confusion, generally I feel when we speak about multi-class, we are running two races within one large race, and the two classes are pushed as far away from each other as possible in performance to allow for having to deal with slower traffic, while also allowing the faster group enough power advantage to get past the slower group in corners and straights.

Great car, by the way. Yes I will have to sort out the classes a bit. The Sultan-Coquette combo was a bit of a random guess since I won both cars but don't race them. The Huntley dominates the Rocotto so I will have to replace it. As for the Shafter-Primo and Blista-Prairie, they were suggestions as I really don't know much about Sedans or Compacts. I will try to find some good combos. Do you have any particular suggestion? An idea just came into my head...that I don't think many people would have thought of. What would happen if we combined good stock cars with worse custom ones? :0 EDIT: Just looked at some in-depth car comparisons for Super and Sports cars (since I am away from console) and saw that the Sultan is actually meant to be 0.5 seconds faster than the Coquette per minute around a track...
