Wait, how does BMW get over 300bhp out of a 1.4 litre engine? lol i don't think it's a 1.4 litre engine I thought BMW naming convention is quite specific, so 140i is a 1.4 litre, 240i is a 2.4 litre etc

I think I was wrong outright, regardless of whether it was an M or not. Ha

M535 is just a longer term for the same car but an older model

Yeah that no longer applies, Tsupernami. Not since they split the 1 and 3 series into 1, 2, 3 and 4 series. M140i = M240i, but with 4 doors. M3 = M4, but again, with 3 doors, etc.

M3 is the M for 3 series idk how they doing it nowayads, but the first number was the series and the other two were the displacement (with exceptions like the e36 323i and onwards, G.L.E.N apparently knows the story behind that), pretty sure the m140 isnt a 4liter, I have yet to see an i6 with 4liters. how about an older bmw? Just checked M140i is a 3l 6cyl

And yes, it's the NA Miata. Although I have to add; they are rare.
