I did not see a thread for this and I am not the greatest at creating races, but I gave the stunt creator a try. I spent an hour or so building a track and during the testing right before I finished the last lap I was kicked out of the creator. The track was gone, even though I had been saving through out working on it. So that is the biggest issue I ran into. The other issue I ran into a lot was getting the tracks to line up when coming back to the first piece on a lap race.
Are there any other issues people running into?

Sorry to hear that man, I'm having a similar problem where a prop will just randomly start spinning uncontrollably and I can't get it to stop no matter what I do, so I quit and reload the job but it won't download. I've tried to save it after the glitch happens but everything after the glitch is lost when I reload, on the rare occasion it actually downloads, so basically the whole race is ruined and I have to start from scratch. I've spent 14 hours straight trying to find a way round it but just gave up in the end.Maybe we're in the unlucky minority, but this thing seems broken to shit.

Man that really sucks. I thought I lost connection, but it sent me back to a full lobby. Not shocked that does not work properly. Each new DLC I think this is the one they will get right.

I experience these issues as well. I don't know how to fix them but from my experiencethe bugs have something to do with snapping. Snapping also seems to be very inaccurate sometimes creating a huge bump. My advise is to stay away from snapping and just use the xyz values.
Also: if you use one of the new props, your race will be permanently stuck as a stunt race. That's super annoying because you have stunt physics and you can only select use standard mode.

Props starting to spin to infinity. However, I found a way workaround to stop it. It is happening because the part tries to get a snap-connection but it can't. So the way to stop this is place a snap-able part and then the next part should be already pre-snaped to it. Place a second part just for good measure and then delete both and the spinning should be over.

The helicopter prop happens sometimes, I just always wait, maybe go take a dump and when I return it's ok.
Also I've been experiencing crashes when snapping from time to time as well. My GTA just stops working. It's a bít annoying but at least it taught me to keep saving my progress when working.

Many thanks for the replies everyone, I messaged CynicalCreator and he suggested a fix which seems to be working, which basically involves placing a snappable prop ( such as one of the stunt tracks ) while it is still moving, then snapping another couple of props onto it, this seems to stop all the props rotating. He also said that closing the application and reloading the game solves the problem of saved jobs not downloading, bit of a pair of aching balls, although like martin says, it at least makes us diligent about saving. I'll try to find some fixes for the other problems mentioned in this thread and post them up if i find anything.

I know this is what you said moppaking, for some reason it only works for me if I place 3 or more snappables, so I thought it worth mentioning, full credit to you too man, thank you, much appreciated

When i get home i will make a vid on how to fix the bug.

So far everytime, the first time I test my track in the creator I get kicked out. Don't know how to solve it. But I suggest everytime before you test. Save your track.

PSA: In the snap settings, only activate snap on trigger (button). Then the prop will only snap when you press the square button on Playstation (I guess X-Button on XBox). In 4 hours of building no helicopter parts so far.

Yesterday I finally got my first stunt race done, it's a basic track style race. Going to try and do a true stunt race, just doesn't seem easy.

Also had this problem of getting kicked out of creator and sometimes my game crashing as well while in creator. I mainly get kicked out when i'm testing the track. Getting lots of lag while testing it then boom I am kicked out. This is why one of my tracks is on Social Club but isn't finished yet as I hit publish instead of save and it is know where near finished due to the kicking issues. The lag is also annoying as hell. I'm on PC btw.

Another bizarre and annoying glitch I've encountered is props turning red for no reason, and they seem to stay that way permanently. I replace them, save, reload, and they're red again. Last night I finally finished a race, got kicked to online on test ( I was lucky to avoid that one for a while ), and now this.I've tried to find a solution for it and for the kicking problem that a lot of people are getting, but no luck so far. I was so excited for this update, but it's really starting to make my shit hang sideways. And the bloke who decided that the best way for us to make circuits is to snap flat bits together like a Scalextric? What a bibble. Crowewon, I share your frustration utterly in trying to get the final section of track to line up.

I have three of them on my track (small pipe, two large platforms) turning from either green or yellow to red. No matter how often I replace these items, they will go back to default red, when I test the track. Oddly, one time it went to grey. But still not what I wanted. You just can't NOT see it Annoys me quite a bit, because it's runing the visual finish and a lot of time redoing the stuff turned out wasted. I'm sure/hoping that's one thing R* might fix in future updates.
