The track looks interesting though. Could you post a link to it?

I'm having problems too, when I test races and when it's on the countdown, sometimes the game crashes at 2, that lost me an hour and a half of time. Now I always save before I test, and it has saved me at least five times already to not have to restart the whole creation.
I'm also having problems with the infinite spin glitch, which is frustrating but easy to fix. There is also another glitch where you try and snap two tracks together and sometimes they aren't lined up perfectly.
I feel your pain, but hopefully everything will be fixed this week.

Another bizarre and annoying glitch I've encountered is props turning red for no reason, and they seem to stay that way permanently. I replace them, save, reload, and they're red again. Last night I finally finished a race, got kicked to online on test ( I was lucky to avoid that one for a while ), and now this.I've tried to find a solution for it and for the kicking problem that a lot of people are getting, but no luck so far. I was so excited for this update, but it's really starting to make my shit hang sideways. And the bloke who decided that the best way for us to make circuits is to snap flat bits together like a Scalextric? What a bibble. Crowewon, I share your frustration utterly in trying to get the final section of track to line up. Same here. I have three of them on my track (small pipe, two large platforms) turning from either green or yellow to red. No matter how often I replace these items, they will go back to default red, when I test the track. Oddly, one time it went to grey. But still not what I wanted. You just can't NOT see it Annoys me quite a bit, because it's runing the visual finish and a lot of time redoing the stuff turned out wasted. I'm sure/hoping that's one thing R* might fix in future updates. Its a bug with templates. Try not to use templates if you don't want things to be red. You can place those tubes and roads in the picture just as easily if not more precise with the advanced option.

PSA: In the snap settings, only activate snap on trigger (button). Then the prop will only snap when you press the square button on Playstation (I guess X-Button on XBox). In 4 hours of building no helicopter parts so far. Funny thing about that: The game doesn't tell you, which button it is, but yes, it is X. And X is also binded to delete props, which seems slightly retar... not to be the best idea.

I use the creator very often, especially since the last update. A summary of the bugs/problems I've encountered so far (PC) : - Game crashes randomly
- Game reloads the job you are working on and resets it to the last state you saved it
- Game spontaneously closes the editor and puts you into online
- Game randomly teleports you to a different place
- HUD unloads and you are stuck where you are, only thing you can do is look around
- Prop spins like crazy when snapping is activated
- Snapping doesn't work, if the part that shall be snapped into is below the ground, in a tunnel, or under a bridge
- When you snap a prop to another, the transition isn't smooth if the part you are holding touched the ground before the snapping
- Props jump up and down when rotated the old way
- Can't use advanced placement with templates
- Parts with colour-options turn red (or grey in rare instances) when placed using templates
- Can't use advanced rotation while in a car, unless you switch perspectives with the menu open
- When you use wrenches and set the job to GTA (pit lane), the wrenches may not apear during the job sometimes
- When you save a race, it's name might disappear
- When you load up a race in the creator, it might let you publish it without any testing (which then only works in some instances)
- When you load up a race in the creator, it tells you it couldn't find it and loads an empty map instead (this is old, I know)
- When you want to place a prop, the game may tell you that there are too many other props around. Works after more tries
- Use one of the new props and the race is turned into a stunt race (I know it is by design, but still: Bad decision)
- The advanced rotation uses local x&y, but world z axis. If you tilt it by 90° in x or y, you might have a hard time adjusting it as you want as now the other local axis does the same as z.
- Turning the advanced rotation on or off, or placing down a prop will reset the part's rotation apart from z.
Looking at this list, I really wonder how I manage to still enjoy this stuff... but I do. ^^

I tried creating a stunt race this evening (PC), and I reckon I'd have more luck tying my bootlaces whilst wearing boxing gloves! The interface isn't friendly or intuitive, the snapping is random and janky, it's really tricky to balance camera controls and prop placement at the same time, and it just generally seems like a huge faff. The one thing that really rubbed me up the wrong way was where I was trying to create a downwards ramp using the stunt track (with barriers), in a similar manner to the opening drop in 'Plummet'. Halfway down the slope, the auto-snapping started tilting each new track segment to one side, meaning that there wasn't a smooth transition between each portion. Of course when I tried to fix it manually with the advanced rotation gimmick, the whole thing messed up and had to be deleted. The creator just seems so backwards and deliberately awkward, and after several raging restarts I gave up. I will try again but maybe I'll just grind the official stunt races until R* removes the bonus cash and RP.

The props don't snap properly if the touch the ground before right the snapping (maybe because they are tilted then).

Worth knowing for the future - thanks!
But my whole construction was well above the ground (or sea, as it was), with no intersection with the water / seabed that I was aware of. Not to worry though, as it taught me that trying to construct Trackmania style roads as a first project was a bit ambitious!

I just did one of my stunts races that has a huge jump and I have done multiple times on a motorcycle, and I would not land it. Don't know what was changed on Friday, but something was.

Same thing happened to me. While playing my friends stunt races on bikes , its nearly impossible to land big jumps( like it used to be before cunning stunts)
