If I summarise: great fun in the cars as expected, but total shit on the organisation side! This experiment was much needed, indeed. I apologise for the lack of "preparation", the huge delay, and the issues with the rally mode. In my mind we would just start the race, make sure we have the right crewmate selected and switch to our TS channels, then rinse and repeat for the second stage... :p
Just looking at the germans' run on the first stage makes me love the concept even more, it's really really cool, even more since I don't understand most of what your guys are saying. I love it!
I'll try to think about how we can overcome the technical issues to make everything a lot smoother. I'd really enjoy doing this on a larger scale.
Thanks all of you guys for trying this out with me, as the brave adventurers you are! I hope you had fun. Feedback and suggestions are more than welcome!
Edit: Oh and of course I'll calculate and publish the results later on, it looks like it's going to be a mess obviously with the scrambled teams... I'll do my best.

So first I wanna say it was great experience and good fun. It's a shame that we had issues with the rally mode so I couldn't race with my crewmate. That's why I'd like to apologize to neutren since my co-pilot skills were shit, I was propably little bit shocked by the situation and I wasn't ready to navigate in English. Next I would really appreciate using more props to circumscribe the rally stage, since in real rally events driver can see where to go and co-pilot always says (easily) just how fast he can take the corner. So as far as we figure out the issues we had, this idea is gonna be just perfect! Thanks for hosting Ganjalo

I'm really sorry about the scrambled teams radas, this was such a downer for me, and I can only imagine for the teams that were split.
It was a big mistake to be so confident in the rally mode (that I of course never really experimented beforehand) that I thought we could be done with this in less than an hour and I could then move on to the Sunday Cup. We could have dealt with the technical issues a lot better with more time.
I'm taking note of your comment about the props, I've chosen to place props further in the corners just to comfort drivers that they didn't take a wrong turn because I felt that would make the co-pilot more useful. I'll be more generous in my future designs.
Thanks for not being mad :p

I seriously just think some people didn't listen and then accidently switched teammates, or got the wrong teammates to begin with or selected the wrong roles.
I seriously don't think GTA can be this stupid.

If you're going to organize another "experiment" like this, count me in! Props placement was ok imho, if you make track indications more clear copilot becomes useless... If I can suggest something about props placement, I would put cones on either sides of the road, like in mtb races, right after the trickiest corners, to assure the pilot he's going the right way (similar to what you did with arrows on pallets on hay stacks) Also, sometimes there are some tricky intersections with lots of roads, maybe adding some props to use as a reference wouldn't be bad (a tree, a rock, a hay stack, a fence...). Not to indicate the right way, but just to make the life easier to the copilot in the more complicated sections. Another thing, maybe to delimitate sectors, like ¼, ½ and ¾ of the track length, could be a nice touch Event experience was awesome, also if some of us got messed up teammates. Solo rally racing in 1st person could be nice to try too, with no minimap nor hud ... Surely easier to organize!

my only complaint: host event when my pc is working dammit XD. count me in for the next one tho, i can only enjoy wrc on ps4 for so long. one more thing tho, cant you manually switch around most things if you put it to rally gta? i remember broughy changing drivers mid-race once.

So, I was about to change some stuff in my "Participated events"-list and I recognized that the Rally results weren't there yet. So i tryed doing it on my own and i kinda did it I'd say: (Click image for more inormation) Congrats to Nick420Guy and CHill who got 1st place with a lead of a fully minute to our german crew, who made 2nd place. I'm really thankfull to our host Ganjalo , who did Bronze with his teammate Madderose , for giving us such a great experience about rallying in GTA. I really hope that there will be a championsship or at least a little event with a few more races like this if r* wants to fix the game sometime. If you guys have any suggestions or corrections to false information, please let me know

Figures my 1st NODO event win and I wasn't even driving. LOL Great driving by CHill although I guess I helped, however once or twice I did have to say oh shit we should have turned back there. LMAO Thanks again Ganjalo definitely want to do some more of this as it was a huge blast to do, had way more fun than I expected.

Lmaoooo, IDK how we won, but I'll take it, Nick420Guy I had a really good time, even though it wasn't what I signed up for... just happened to be there because I miscalculated timezones... Worth it lol. Also, Nick your directions were great, don't think I could've done any better
