How do I sign up for the race? 6 pm UTC would be about 6 hours ahead of me in the USA in Central Standard Time right? Oh, one more thing, my PC runs between 57 & 63 FPS, how to I set it to 60 FPS max? Is slipstream turned on? I hope not, because I race by myself 50% of the time in GTA V online cause so many players try to take you out on purpose even though they know that they can't win. They must collect a share of the winnings from their buddy that finishes 1st. I am still trying to get used to slipstream during the stunt jumps. But, I figure that you won't have any stunt jumps in the races, right? Although, just this week I finally found someone that races honestly like I do. But, I do pretty good and actually have quite a few top 20 world race times. At 99 years old, I am extremely excited to race! The Grandkids gave me this game. I think that it was so that they had something to play when they came over. Boy, did I fool them when I started playing it and fell in love with GTA V online racing. Well, just let me know what to do.  There are a couple options if you want to cap your frame rate at 60. The simplest is to set the refresh rate option to 60 Hz and turn on Vsync in the in game options. Though for me the game tends to stutter if I do this. If it does the same for you then you can enable Vsync in your GPU's control panel. For Nvidia it's listed under 3D settings > Manage 3D settings. You'll find a list and Vsync should be near the bottom. You may choose to turn on Triple buffering as well if you think it's necessary. The third (and last) option I know of is to use an application like Dxtory to cap it. I've never tried this because Dxtory and GTA don't play well together on my system. But you probably can find loads of tutorials online. Personally I wouldn't bother if your frame rate never exceeds 63 anyways. |

sign me up please apologies for my uncommunicative behavior, i had no headset and the micro i used was all over the place so i couldnt really grab it while racing. sry if i crashed someone, and i have an idea (or a thought) for the next playlist: lets make the first lap a safety car round where no one is aloud to overtake, so everyone can get a feeling for the track. (just an idea) or/and: instead of rearranging all top 10 players, the top 10 players just re-grid as they like (considering there are no try hards) at the and of the field, all decent racers should be able to determine their skill and where they think would be a good spot for a balanced race. the marshalls should be able to observe any unfair behavior. just a thought |

Concerning the top 10 at the end, this already happens to some extent (especially towards the end of the playlist). I want to remind all participants that they should take it easy on the first lap (you won't win the race in the first few corners). |

It puzzles me that @pezby doesn't want you in the welcome playlist with the reasoning that you already signed up for something else. He allowed me to join after being signed up for two events. All I had to do was sign off those events and the instructions to join the welcome playlist.
2. You might want to check this out. 3. And this, if Pezby doesn't reconsider. Otherwise you'd get there eventually. Hope that helps sorting it out. |

Pardon me, it seems I have misunderstood the situation. I thought you had changed it to that if you sign up for something, there's no welcome PL for you, regardless of whether or not you sign off the event. That was not my intentions, but in my defense, there is sooooooooooo much to read, after that I am ready for a nap.lol I will be there at The Mario Kart 150cc Cup on Sept. 24th at 6pm UTC because that is what I committed to. I only signed up for Pezby_ events because I did not see my name on the list, so I figured that u had not submitted me yet. But, I am a woman of my word, so I will be there. Can you do me a favor though? Can u start me in last place? If I am any good, I will be able to work my way thru the pack. If I am not as good as I think, then this way I will not get in anybody's way. How does that sound to you?
I really am sorry about the whole situation.
