Round 1 Informations:

Laps: 40
Maximum laps without a pit: 24
Session up: 7:45 PM UTC

Qualifying:
For the first round we will do a 5 laps qualifying to decide the starting order. The qualifying will be hold in noon and clear weather. The session will be 7 laps long, for the first lap, everybody will be align up at the pit exit, and I will release everybody with a 5 seconds gap. Fastest lap counts, everybody will have 5 tries. When the lap counter show 7/7, everybody need to return to the pits. If you miss the qualifying, it means you will start from the back, at the order of your start number.
We only do qualifying at the first round, because the MAC3 taking away time before the other races.

Safety car lines:
Start-finish line

Pit entry line

A line 90 degrees to the road, where the pit entry starts
Turn 9 exit

A line 90 degrees to the road, where the last airport hut stops
I tried to divide the track to 3 parts evenly, and select easy to judge lines.

Track limits:
The track is an old school track, with out new props, so the only limits are the tarmac and track exttensions

Exceptions are the corners where the track creator putted walls to the outside of the corner exit, in this corners you can leave the track with more than 3 wheels, until the wall ends. Taking to the Voltic's racing line to the mix, its not going to matter too much.

This should be obvious, but this line to the left is forbidden.


"Curb" boosing:
There are not a lot of boost points in Montréal, but the only 1 direction change to leave the line on the straight, and after that 1 to come back is still in play.
Example: After taking the first boost on the main straight you can't take the second one.

Pit exit:
The pit exit is really dangerous, I want everybody to be extra careful.


Okay, only 1 week until the first round, I hope this event will go as smooth as possible, and we will have some fun.

Do we have to stop for any amount of time at the pit exit? Or just drive straight through as with SATCC?
