Basically ruins for fun events by making everyone get cars they will use once. Yeah although for this event its not too bad as the cars can be stolen and are reasonably cheap to upgrade. There is / was a planned Lynx event that I think will struggle for numbers after this change. I now have a car in both classes for the first week and I have an Omnis* but no van. I can't get a Gang Burrito as I haven't done the heist so would need to borrow one. I guess for future events people signing up will need to mention if they have the cars or not so that the host knows that everyone will be able to get a car. It might help if events try to re use similar groups of cars so if there was a slow muscle car event in the future it would reuse the same group of cars so that they aren't just used for one event.
* I believe the performance of this car has been downgraded, not sure if it affects the classification? |

However, I will ask the participants in a couple of weeks, just to make sure that no one get's left behind. Concerning the Omnis, as of now I haven't done any testing and I will report to you guys as soon as I know more. Also I'm considering to include the Stirling GT, it really fits into the group and probably is a car that a lot of people have. I could help you do the heist mission for the Gang Burrito if you're interested. |
