I've always wondered if anyone uses music to help them when racing in GTA or any other racing game, whether it be using Spotify on ps4 or using something else if you are on pc. For me, Love runs out by One Republic seems to help me win most of the stunt races on GTA. But what music do you guys listen to when racing?

Almost always Non-Stop-Pop FM and then I just put the lyrics on my second screen so I can sing. Well one part is true of that story, mostly I just listen my own youtube playlist If you're still wondering >>Click It!<<

When I need to concentrate I don't listen to music at all, but for fun racing I usually go to my YouTube Playlist

No music, pure silence is best for concentration.

No music, pure silence is best for concentration. I would say that actually depends on what you are concentrating on. Example being if you are racing an hour long event and you know the track really well, listening to music will let you stay relaxed and can help you find a groove where you just start clicking off clean laps. If you are on a brand new track though it helps to have full attention on learning the track

If you are on a brand new track though it helps to have full attention on learning the track I think people are different in what makes them concentrate better. For me, I almost constantly have some music on backround when I'm at home. So when I play, I usually have some music on my PS4 / Spotify playing (when I have headphones on) or from my home stereo. Mostly metal and rock, but at times anything from classical to rap to electronic music. When it comes to proper racing though, I need to turn off all the music so I can concentrate on the race instead of the music I'm listening to. I have this unvoluntary thing that when I hear music I focus (partly) on the playing song, which could make me lose my concentration on the chosen task.

I used to listen to either LS Rock, Space or The Lowdown, but turned off the music because of that bit that always plays during the DNF countdown. Those that raced with me would know that I have a tendency to hum "Take on Me" by A-ha while racing. Also, Lamborghini Mercy while driving a Zentorno
