Suggestion, Broughy1322. How about we divide the racers into 3 groups, and each group would drive a different GT class every race? It would mix things up and hopefully prevent some frustration and boredom. Seconded to a point. Some sort of rotation would be nice but car expense could get pretty big.

Upgrades expense was already pretty big with GT2 drivers. This idea could spread the cost to more players as most of us already have the top of class GT1 cars.

I personally think the 3 class system would be better this time around, then if we do this again, do 2 classes. The 3 class system just makes it different enough from the first season to make me really want to watch it, and the leaderboards would be a bit more mixed up which would be a nice change.

I support lewjens idea though. We did this in the RRGP and it really adds a lot of suspense if it suddenly begins to rain, it also requires more ability to adapt to the surroundings from the drivers, which is good for an endurance race imo. It rains at different times for different people so thats a pretty useless feature. Even when all in the same freemode before. Tried and tested, cant work on current. Sorry to be bursting bubbles. It worked just fine when we did it in the RRGP. The only timing issue I've encountered before is that it begins and ends at different times for some people, the total duration has always been the same though and the timing lagg has never been more significant then a minute in difference. And it's always been the drivers in front getting it first, so my guess is that it starts and ends somewhat in the same part of the track for everyone, so if you're 30 seconds behind the leader it wont start raining for you until you're at the point where the leader was when it started raining for him. Anyways, we used Current/Current in the RRGP, and everyone seemed to encounter the same amount of rain whenever it rained. My bubble is not burst yet

This idea could spread the cost to more players as most of us already have the top of class GT1 cars. @kelevera51x (got the wrong quote): Not if the races are done in GTA mode like some of the races have been so far, with a pit lane. Respawning always seem to be an issue as well with traffic and parked cars spawning, so if there are added pit lanes for repairs every 1 minute or so of driving on the track and an agreement not to respawn we could just switch the cars around before starting. This could also tie in nicely with starting the GT-classes in heats with a time difference. Tandur suggested a sticky bomb to start off the heats, I would rather suggest a grenade thrown in a safe direction, that way nobody gets an unfair advantage. Combined with a running start I think it could work really nicely. That's another thing I tried doing on an event I hosted in Red Rum, and it received a lot of positive response from the participants, though we used fireworks to set it off, that puts however has to launch it into an awkward starting position. So a grenade might work better. Kind of like in the early Le Mans 24 events. Just brainstorming here ;-) Sorry for the double-post :S

The expense was already quite sizeable for GT2 drivers during season 1, this way it would only get cheaper (or spread over more people, more like), as everyone would get to drive a car they (should) already own every once in a while.

What if we did 1 race in every car class, other than utility and bicycles, which I think makes for 11 races or 10 without motorcycles and have each on a different track because it'll add more variety and have more cars get used.

I don't really like the idea of rotating people between GT1, GT2 and GT3. We should stick to the same one so we can have team battles as well as inter class battles.

The idea is to rotate everybody at the same time so will still have team battles and you will compete against the same players every time. There was no inter class battle in the last event, i don't understand what you meant by this. Edit: Maybe you meant intra class?

Everything would be the same, you'd always race the same group of people. Only once in a Zentorno, once in an Alpha and once in an Asea... You get the point.
