Throwing it in this forum since the creator forums are based on consoles, and there is no PS4/XB1 forum there anyways. This is a public service announcement Kelevera51x pointed out might be useful.
When editing your tracks on new generation (NG) consoles, if you want the track to stay available on old generation (OG) consoles (PS3/360) you will need to make a copy, this can be done in two ways. Both ways are explained based on your Character Transfer already having taken place.
1. If you still have your OG console, you can go into creator on OG and find your list of "published" races. Don't load your race, but keep it selected and press Y or Triangle to make a saved copy. Then go in your "saved" races list, and you will find a saved copy of the track which you can then publish. The copy will remain untouched and fully playable on OG consoles, but will not be available on NG consoles. The plays and ratings of your track will however, NOT carry over to the copy. Which will start from 0.
2. If you don't have your OG console, or you prefer keeping your ratings for your OG version, go into creator on your NG console and make a saved copy in the same way explained above. It's now very important that when making your edits to the track, you do this on the saved copy and not the OG version. If you do so, it will become unplayable on OG consoles. All ratings start from 0 on NG consoles, but you keep your OG ratings on the track. You will have to take a new Photo, and re-test the track for NG before you can publish it. It is recommended to make a change to the title or description to make it easier to distinguish between the two. Both versions of the track will be playable on your NG console.

Aah thanks for checking ! Will do it for the other tracks, so far is only vinewood hell gp lost tho.. so if other people didn't get it how to keep your track you created on old gen but already transferred your character: copy the race you want to edit for ps4, don't open the original race on new gen. The copied race will be saved in the saved races, edit that one for next gen. This wat you'll keep your race on og and have the new upgraded version for next gen. Only downside is you need to go back to old gen if you want to edit the old gen race.

Can this be done the other way around? So copying a track that's created on PS4, so it can be played on PS3, lr is it impossible due to props?

There is no option to transfer a character from current gen to old gen. Even if a new gen track used 50 props and only old gen props it is still impossible. New Nodo dress code confirmed!
