While he's not slow, he's not in his heyday anymore, and is holding back Ferrari from winning the title as a team. Lets compare kimi to Daniel shall we. With 3 dnfs, kimi was only able to pull out 6 podiums with a best of second. With 6 dnfs, Daniel got 9 podiums with a win. With a reliable car, Daniel is miles faster than kimi and could lead Ferrari to a constructors title much easier than kimi could. kimi needs to retire, he has a top level seat, yet can't use it effectively as others could. Im not saying Daniel is slower than Kimi, nor am i saying Ferrari would do worse with him. Lets say Kimi got the same amount of points as Bottas this season, would’ve Ferrari won the title? Nope, because Vettel was way behind Hamilton. Im just indicating the mistakes he didn’t make, but were forced to happen to him. He’s always been a bad qualifier, where as Red Bulls seem to be fast there. Those starting positions matter, especially between Ferrari and Red Bull since there’s not that much difference in pace. And if Ferrari want to go for the title as a constructor or a single driver, Vettel can’t just throw away the season after Spa. Kimi will most likely retire after this year, so you guys can for once be happy. +i doubt Red Bull will let Ricciardo go to Ferrari. If memory serves me correct Im pretty sure Ricciardo said that if Red Bull are to switch to a Honda engine at a later date because of the Toro Rosso deal he will probably try and move to another team. Remember Daniel only signed a 1 year contract so maybe Dan for ferrari 2019? dont take my word for it though.

I'd say Dan's people have put out feelers to Merc and Ferrari. He's one of the best talents on the grid, and nobody overtakes like he does. Mercedes have more options and the luxury of success so my bet would be on the Scuderia.

I think that it depends on Vettel becoming worldchampion next year and the way Leclerc performs if he gets the chance at Sauber. If Vettel wins the title and Leclerc does well, there might not be room for Riciardo at Ferrari. Mercedes will either have Bottas or Ocon next to Hamilton. So Riciardo might actually need Hamilton to retire to be able to switch to another top team (Renault might be a dark horse, but they probably rather have Alonso).

Ferrari don't typically gamble on their drivers. More often than not they'll take a solid proven 2nd driver.

yes Leclerc is likely to end up at Sauber or Haas first.
Haas would be a pity; turn him into a right cunt as per their apparent policy.

I'm talking about Leclerc for 2019. Vettel seems very fond of him. If Vettel becomes worldchampion and Leclerc performs well in the Sauber, I see Ferrari pairing them up.

We know you were, just disagreed. 2019 is just one year of experience and typically not enough for ferrari. Though this championship drought might be enough for them to reconsider.

I heard it's just a rebranding by ferrari Yeah. They still use Ferrari power unit. Just like Red Bull have "Tag Heuer" as their engine supplier but its Renault.

Ah, TAG-Heuer... the main reason I hate wearing the 2017 Red Bull shirt is I'm advertising the Swiss watch brand for people who want to buy an expensive watch but know bugger all about expensive watches.
I appreciate Vettel likes Leclerc, but I'm not sure Sergio Marchionne gives a shit about Seb's preference, as Seb's preference is to have Kimi and that's made them really only in with a driver's title. Ferrari wants the constructor's title, and they can't have that with Kimi as their #2. Ricciardo is ethnically Italian, he's one of the best drivers on the grid, and he'll be available in 2019. You'd be a fool to take a rookie over him.
Imagine if Max was the #1 driver at Red Bull, Jeffrey. One of your arms will be twice the size of the other during F1 season!
