I just caught up on the races I missed when in the USA.
Ricciardo was really struggling with that understeer, making him vulnerable to Max and the Ferraris. But man, Seb's overtakes on Kimi and then Dan and then Max? I used to hate him because of Multi-21. He was a bad sport, a shit bloke, and that's no way to win. But since Webber left, he's mellowed and I think he was humbled heavily by Dan beating him, a 4x world champion and one of the best drivers on the grid, in 2014. I never doubted his talent, I just thought him a bit of dick and now? Now I'm a Vettel fan. I want him to win a 5th title sorry.
Though I mean I also want Ricciardo to win the title he's capable of so... shit.

Great race. Great battles up front but even more so in the mid field. Great emotions. Good sport. The artificial "he's going to catch up" hype of the commentators was as usual a damb squib, but that was plain obvious at still 10 laps to go.
Those tires, though. Mercedes needing two stints to finally understand that the option is the faster tire all-round. Billions of $ and several hundred employees per team and no one really understands what the rubber's doing...
Makes for interesting races, though. Despite me not being a fan of this kind of uncertainty.

Sainz blaming Stroll for a clear Toro Rosso error. Nice. :/ I think Carlos watched the daily playlist, because that was clearly a dive bomb.

It's too early in the day for me to understand the specifics. But I'll take their word for it.
