I'm not sure I could pick a favorite brand off the cuff. I like to spread the love. Pontiac has a special place in my heart, because the first car I ever purchased with my own money was a silver 2001 Grand Am GT coupe. I loved that car. That was what really started my love affair with cars. I miss it terribly. Chevrolet has a special place as well for the Corvette. I've always wanted one, for as long as I can remember. And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Nissan for the Z, my current mistress.
My first car was a 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera SL sedan. My brothers and I bought it from my Uncle for $1. Looking back, it's odd that they helped pay for it, since I was the only one old enough to drive it. I drove that thing like I stole it, and ultimately ruined it. It wouldn't even turn over when we traded it in for my next car. To add insult to injury for the dealer they gave us $1,000 for it. Talk about a good return.

I'm not sure I could pick a single favorite brand... There are too many amazing cars in the world that I'd love to have. But I guess I'd go with the VAG group. I've owned 4 VW's over the years, a tubo beetle, jetta, GTI, and GLI - and I love Audi's, Skoda's and SEATs... so I guess VAG it is. Also, the name makes me giggle, so there's that too.
My first car was an 85 Nissan 4x4. 4cyl that could only get to 75mph going down hill, and got 14 mpg. GOD, I loved that thing. So many fond memories.

Favourite car manufacturer? Ferrari . Although from a more realistic and affordable perspective I really like Mitsubishi and Subaru. My first car was a Daihatsu Charade. It got totalled when a drunken idiot smacked into the back when it was waiting for a red light. My second and current car is a Mitsubishi Galant wagon with almost 300.000 km on the clock (bought it with a little over 100.000). Very comfy and reliable car .

Favorite brand has got to be SRT as I am a bit biased towards them due to my dad having owned one of thr very first 2008 Challenger. My first car (and the only car i have ever owned as i am only 17) is a 2004 Volvo S40 sports edition
