Event Information and Rules
Event Date : Friday, March 3rd
Event Start : 7pm UTC
Lobby & Start Procedure : The lobby for the event will be active 15-30 minutes prior to 7pm. The Qualifying Session begins promptly at 7pm and any drivers not in the lobby for invites will be randomized at the back of the starting grid for the first race. Each race will last no more than 20-25 minutes. There will be a 5-10 minute break period between races to allow the event host to sort the starting grids. Please try to be on early for lobby invites, we will be starting at the scheduled times regardless of everyone being online or not.
Conduct & General Rules : See nodo.freeforums.net/thread/3455/nodo-racing-guidelines for general purpose rules concerns. Unless otherwise called out below, the NoDo guidelines will be enforced.
Safety Cars : Once every 4 laps, a Safety Car will be called. All drivers are to immediately hold their position at the time of the call and cease overtakes. During the Safety Car, the lead driver will proceed with minimal speed around the current lap until instructed by the event organizer to come to a stop (usually in the final section before the last turn prior to the start/finish line). All following cars will form up single file and hold positions, following the leader around the track and bunching up into a group again. After all cars are gathered up, the leader will be instructed to proceed around the final corner with the rest of the cars following, with the race resuming once the leader has crossed the start/finish line.
Maximum Entrants : 11/12 - Additional slots may be added if interest is great enough. Please sign up even if the event is filled, once enough to fill an extra slot on each team have signed up, they will be added to the team rosters and be able to participate as a normal driver. Otherwise, extra signups will be marked as reserves.
Time / Weather : Noon and Clear for all races.
Pit Stops : There are no mandatory pit stops, but drivers may use the pit lanes on each track if they wish to repair damage. You may need to do additional damage to your car using a gun or molotov to make sure that repairs happen.
Wheels / Tires : STOCK wheels only.
Livery / Respray : Drivers must use their chosen team's livery and colors, as listed below.
Upgrades & Visuals : All other upgrades and visuals may be used at each driver's discretion.
Team and Driver Scoring : Overall Points are awarded per race, and go towards both team and driver championship standings. If more positions are added, points continue counting down until 20th position, where 1 point is awarded for 20th and lower. Screenshots will be taken of final positions both in-race and on the results screen. If anyone is showing as in a different position to what you finished, send screenshots or video to bladecruiser .
