Mid-Level Sports Showdown

March 19th, 19:00 UTC (7PM UTC)

This is a simple event to showcase a few cars that are are close on pace and are fun to drive but are not at the top of the class. The cars will be going head to head on a track where each car should be evenly balanced overall compared to the others.

Track: Asari Raceway

Weather: Clear
Race length: 50 minutes
Laps: 36 (This includes the warm up lap)
Class: Sports
Cars: Comet Retro Custom, Verlierer, Carbonizzare, Alpha, Sultan, Banshee, Coquette
Customs: On
Restricted Modifications: No Restrictions

Please have your own car for the event, the Sultan can be found in freeroam and modified if you are low on money

Having a mic is not required, but being able to hear my instructions is, so please be in game chat for the event

Timetable:

Date: March 19th
Pre-lobby: 18:30 UTC (6:30 PM UTC)
Race Lobby: 18:55 UTC (6:55 PM UTC)
Race Start: 19:00 UTC (7:00 PM UTC)
We will have a warm up lap for everyone to become familiar with the track and the pit lane. At the end of the warm up lap everyone will be placed in their starting position
Green Flag: 19:10 UTC (7:10 PM UTC)
Event End: 20:00 UTC (8:00 PM UTC)

Start Procedure:

The starting grid for the race will be randomized. It will be set to GTA so we will start on a sticky bomb

Pitting procedure:

You are required to make TWO PIT STOPS. The pit stop can NOT be on the first or last lap of the race. Recording it is not required, but it is recommended.

Respawning:
You are only allowed to respawn if you are in an unrecoverable position.

Note: Signups will be closed an hour before the event. The only way to participate is if you sign up on the forums, NOT by sending me a message
