[PS4] GTA Formula-E Championship (Completed)

Gurgling V8s, screaming V12s, the smell of petrol, burned rubber and sweat. That are the ingriedients for the real racing experience - until today. GTA Formula-E (sponsored by Coil) is a racing series that relies on cars "fueled" with sustainable energy - without making a sound!

This sounds boring? NO! 10 beautiful, mostly city based tracks will be raced by a competitive field of 22 drivers that will fight until the last corner in a stunning, insanely fast car: The Coil Voltic.

Here are some details for those of you who are still not sure what to expect:

Championship of 10 races on 5 Sundays, starting on June 25th, 6PM UTC. On each Sunday there will be two 30 minute races with a two lap qualifying before each race. Every Sunday, the pre lobby will be up at 5.30PM at the latest (probably 5PM) and the event will end at around 8PM.

For the quali we will have two flying rounds (non contact) - go at start. Pole will be handed to the driver with the fastest laptime.

Drivers will race in a team of two. Please post the team name you want to race with. It doesn't have to be a pitlane approved team, I personally would prefer a team name that has something to do with the general theme of electric (racing).

If you sign up I need the following info from you:
-permanent/reserve/pitman/cameraman
-team (name & primary/secondary/rim colour)
-nationality

This is a clean racing championship. If you don't stick to the rules (mostly standard NoDo incl. blue flag, rest is stated in the spreadsheet above), you will be penalised.
It's necessary for you to be on slack or game chat while the event takes place

  

Important notice:
Please record your race. I will ask everybody to upload their highlights/footage so I can check for incidents (if reported) and make a general highlight video about the races afterwards. I will introduce every track, team and driver, so I might ask you to take photos of your cars and your characters.
