What better way to use the new McLaren F1 then to race it with it's faster counterpart in a multiclass race?
Information & Rules
Track: Cruise Missile '91 by Digster_Pop
Race Length: 47 Laps (In an attempt to do a 200 mile race)
Conduct & General Rules: Don't be an asshole, we're all just trying to have a fun race with these two great cars. That being said, incidents are bound to happen, don't take them personally. Read up on the NoDo Racing Guidelines, but note that blue flags will not be in effect, both between GT1 & GT2 as well as in-class. If you are being lapped, you are encouraged to do everything reasonable and legitimate within your means to stay in front of whoever is trying to pass you.
Pre-Lobby: At 19:00 UTC, I will create an Friends Only pre-lobby, you are free to join whenever during this hour as long as you are in before 20:00. I will send out invites to the signups every 10 minutes to remind you. Try to join the pre-lobby to make my life easier when it comes to inviting you to the race.
Event Date/Time & Duration: April 21st, the race will start as close to 20:00 as possible, and will most likely take around 2 hours.
Maximum Entrants: 30 drivers, 15 in GT1 15 in GT2
Time/Weather: Set to Current for the race, if Weather is brought back by Rockstar for stunt races in time for the event. If not there's nothing we can do, we'll be stuck with Clear
Pit Stops: This race will feature 3 mandatory pit stops. You must make 1 pit stop during the time frame of 15 minutes to 45 minutes, 1 pit stop between 45 minutes and 75 minutes, and 1 pit stop between 75 minutes and 105 minutes. During your pit stop, you must stop on pit road and take a screenshot of your car with the time clearly displayed (Done via the share button on your PS4 controller). If you are believed to have skipped pit stops, you will be required to provide proof via these screenshots.
Car Restrictions: As stated earlier, there is a maximum of 15 each for each GT
GT1: Progen Tyrus
GT2: Progen GP1
Upgrades: For both the Tyrus & the GP1, you must keep the stock wheels (they can be recolored via iFruit if desired).
On the GP1, you must not put on either any spoilers except 10° Fixed Lift or 30° Fixed Lift or a front bumper with a carbon splitter (LM Bumper, Competition Bumper & GT Bumper are banned)
On the Tyrus, if you use a livery you must retain the stock spoiler, if you use no livery you must switch to one of the carbon spoilers
All other upgrades (like performance and other visual changes in Los Santos Customs) are optional, but strongly encouraged.
Starting Procedure: The race will begin with a split standing start, GT2 in front of GT1. The front car of GT2 will begin the GT2 grid at the seam of asphalt at the tunnel under Fort Zancudo as pictured below
The rear car of GT1 will begin the GT1 grid at the end of the straightaway, close to the right arrows pointing the final turn towards the straight as pictured below
The starting grid for each GT will be randomized from the list of participants. Reserves who end up in the race will be placed at the back of the GT.
A Sticky Bomb will be placed at each start grid, as soon as the bombs begin exploding, you are free to start.
Drivers:
If you wish to sign up after the initial 30 slots are filled, you are free to sign up as a reserve, as long as you have both a Tyrus and a GP1 that meets the specs listed above

Hopefully my first NoDo event as a host can be a rousing success. If this event doesn't reach 16 signups, it will be postponed to a later date
