Recently I've been thinking of new ways to layout lsgp since its been updated on 360 to the new version and to be honest I don't really like it. Its just too simple when you're driving it so I looked as to better ways to do it and this was what I thought was the best one. I was thinking that we should turn left out of the tunnel and then go through the hairpin there like on the inner loop and then continue up from there to get to where the chicane was and go through that turn and then turn left onto part of the new layout but continue on it until you reach the area near the 5 way intersection and turn right go through that hairpin and then the rest of the track would be the same.(this may be confusing so I made sure to get a picture of what I'm talking about) I haven't tested this yet but I may go and make the track on 360 to try it but I think it'll work well. sorry for the poorly drawn lines but this shows you what I was thinking of

The layout looks nice, but the upper part is extremely bumpy. Since the chicane is there you won't have so much speed so it could work. Another part is that you take away the posibillity to see other racers on other parts of the track. I think Broughy tries to incorporate that into his tracks.

I agree that the top is bumpy and you cant see other racers but I don't think its that important to see the other drivers and as younsaid for the top you're going to be slowed down by the chicane so I'll have to make the track to see how well that works.

Suggests LSGP is too simple. Makes an even more simplified version of the upper section.
Trust me I've tried everything around that top area and what I came up with works the best. That section after the chicane is far too bumpy and the road after that is too narrow (I also think it has trees causing problems)

Well I think the main problem I have with it is that it isn't as good as the original. So if you had created this as the original I'd probably be fine with it but the thing is it wasn't the original so it now has to live up to the original version which in my opinion it doesn't.

What about this then? Its not a major change but I tried it out and it worked really well and added some more challenge to the track as well as a little bit of flow at the section that you rejoin the current layout.

I showed Jon this layout and we both tried it out and agreed that its better than the current layout.

Honestly I like it how it is and have no real plans to change it.

Alright I was trying to make something more people would like because I know that me and a few others don't like the new layout as much so I wanted to try to make it a little better but if you want to keep it the same then thats fine.

I had some time and I was bored and I made this; the Los Santos GP in a huge map. You can zoom in to view it properly and read the corner numbering or check out the cropped image below. Even though Broughy already said he isn't planning on changing his track and it might not be useful for the sake of this thread, this should be useful to some people whenever we discuss this track or any racing related situations. Perhaps it's also useful to add to the 'Broughy's tracks' thread? Broughy1322
