I'll use the Tyrus as the best Example.
The 2nd most expensive car in the game (Excluding Warstock options) 2.5M
The car has been on a slippery slope downward.
Granted I know why R* wont change the prices.
But would it be a fair settlement?

I would argue that the re7b was most affected as it was the fastest and even more expensive. I wouldn't really expect them to adjust the price and if the sale price was also adjusted then people who already own the car would lose out if they try to sell the car. Also prices are not really related to performance anyway eg Lynx.

All car prices should be adjusted because most are ridiculously too expensive anyway.

Don't know about adjusted but they should offer refunds as they've charged a lot for the fastest car in the game and then made it no where near the fastest car

98% of the player base don't know about the nerfs. That's more than a reason for R* to not do anything.

98% of the player base don't know about the nerfs. That's more than a reason for R* to not do anything. The question isn't will they it's should they. Obviously they won't. Okay so while it is quite different take mobas for an example, hell even csgo skins if you want. When league champions, or csgo guns, get nerfed they offer no refunds discounts or benefits to players that purchased the content. The simple fact is that you paid the price tag, which was entirely your decision, and you received the promised content. After it gets nerfed you still have the content its just not as useful. Ohh well. Should they adjust car prices is a different topic entirely and talking about it would be like beating a dead horse so I won't bother but basically no they have no reason need or precedent to modify/refund cars that have been nerfed. Secondarily if they modified the price they would have to give a refund to people who already purchased the car because they set the precedent that they would do that when returning players cars went free. Just my incoherent rant in between actually being productive at work.

It'd defo be nice. I do like some of the most expensive cars, but I can't say I fancy spending loads of cash on a car that will perform way worse.

I don't have the exact figures to hand so I'll improvise.
I brought my RE7B pretty much when it first came out for $2.5m. Let's say during the most recent nerf the car gets reduced in price to compensate - for arguments sake we'll say they reduce it to $1.5m. We also know that when you sell a car in LSC you recieve 10% of the retail price for that car.
So assuming my once $2.5m RE7B is now hypothetically worth $1.5m, do I recieve $250k or $135k when I decide it's no longer worth owning because R* can't get their shit right?
Unless I'm horribly mistaken there isn't a way for R*'s system to recognise what price you've brought a car for and thus if you've ever tried to sell a car while it was discounted, you were getting less money that if you sold it while it was full price.

I hate to say it, but you are actually quite wrong in this Fringe Cars purchased off of a website will sell for HALF the purchased price, while cars stolen off the street will sell for 10% of the retail price. And Rockstar DOES in fact keep track of the purchase price of your vehicles. So when you try to sell something you got on a discount on the website, the sell price will be 50% of the discounted sale price As for the OP, this is Rockstar we are talking about, so any purchase you make you have to realize that the value might be lowered for a multitude of reasons. We are only a small minority of GTA players, so while we care a lot about performance, some people might only care about looks, or how a car drives (some nerfed cars do feel better than pre-nerf) so there isnt a reason to lower the price based on performance

+1. Besides some temporary discounts, I don't think they will ever lower the price of vehicles.

As a side note though, I don't know anyone who brought a Re7B because they liked how it looked

Prices should just stay the same, as the whole game is not revolved around racing and there would not be much a reason to lower it. Even then, in games like forza, a worse car can cost more because its just a more expensive car. Using the logic of "if its slower, it should be cheaper" then the super diamond would be cheaper than the primo.
