Has Broughy made any testing videos on the stats that armor gives to vehicle with the upgrade?
I hear it makes the car you put it on more heavier, leading to slower lap times. Is this true?
Plus, does it help with crash deformation?

I used to think that it made me slower, but after switching back to it I noticed no difference in lap times. Also, regardless of any difference that it probably doesn't make in speed, getting tapped into a tree by lag on lap 1 of 10 will make you regret not having armor.

In short, they don't affect weight. Even if they did, the ability to not shithouse your car after a small bump would be well worth it.

All I know is that 100% armor is worth it, except in an Elegy, that car is made of tin foil.
