Overview

For the first time in Broughcar history, NoDo's premier oval racing series comes to FiveM's premier clean racing server! Battle side-by-side and nose-to-tail with your fellow competitors from start to finish in this exciting new upcoming race in the Broughcar series! Can you outrun your fellow competitors in the bullring?

Start Procedure - The start will be a double-file rolling start. No overtaking is permitted before the start/finish line. The grid will be randomized. Past Broughcar winners will start behind all other participants.

Racing Etiquette - Standard NODO racing rules apply. Participants may not reset outside of the pit lane except when in an unrecoverable position.

Pitting - Participants must take one mandatory pit stop during the race. The pit stop cannot be taken while the pits are closed. The pit must be taken between laps 21/131 and 111/131 (inclusive). If a participant pits under safety car, they must rejoin the field at the end of the line.

Safety Car - The safety car may be deployed for any serious incident involving three or more cars, or any incident which significantly disrupts the flow of the race. No overtaking during the safety car period is permitted. Only race control can deploy the safety car, and they may only do so by typing “sc” in the chat. The pits close immediately upon safety car deployment. Race control will re-open them during safety car.

Restarts - Race control will give the "1 to go" signal to indicate a restart is coming the next line the field reaches the start/finish line. Drivers may overtake after reaching the start/finish line. Participants lined up in front the leader will be asked to pass the safety car and drive up to the back of the line before the restart. Lapped cars will be asked to drop to the back of the line if the restart is to occur on or after lap 112/131.

Blue Flag - Drivers may issue the blue flag to participants they are lapping after the leader reaches lap 112/131.

Red Flag - Race control may issue the red flag for serious incidents or to help facilitate clean up of the track. Under the red flag all participants are to stop where they are.

Penalties - Penalties may be issued either during or after the race for rules violations. Participants who wish to report on-track incidents should DM video footage on Discord to event host redlaserbm#9842. Footage may be deferred to others for review in the event of a conflict of interest.

FPS Limit - Mandatory 60 FPS limit for all racers.

Sign-Ups - Sign-ups are limited to 24 racers and 1 safety car driver. Non-NODO members are welcome to join. To join the event:
1. Read through the thread.
2. Join the Project Homecoming discord and follow directions to obtain the "Steam" role.
3. In the #charlie text channel in said discord, type "!event join broughcar"
4. Make a post in #broughcar indicating that you wish to participate.

The event host reserves the right to deny entry into the event or give some people (say long time NODO members) priority over others. A multistream is available for viewing for those who can't make it to the event.

Liveries - Participants must indicate the livery and number (from 0 to 99) they will use in the race. Liveries must be lore-friendly. No two liveries may share similar colors or identical sponsors/numbers.
