If you like racing games DiRT Rally is a pretty good one and it's currently on sale on steam (80%) theres even a bundle with the newest DiRT 4 for a couple more dollars but I haven't tried DiRT 4 so I can't tell you if it's good or not. And if you like RPGs, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is pretty good too but it's not on sale.
Since you didn't really tell us what you like about the games you play (racing and shooting I presume ) and since I guess you like GTA, I can recommend the Just Cause series, just like GTA they have both. These games are primarily single player, but afaik it is possible to play multiplayer (but I heard the code is even worse than GTA Online).
For more current racing games I'd recommend Dirt Rally, Wreckfest and Project Cars, since I'm assuming youre playing on PC. If you want to catch up on some older games check out the Need for Speed series (My recommendations would be Hot Pursuit (the old one), Underground 1+2, Most Wanted (new and old) and Shift 1+2), Flatout 1+2 and Burnout Paradise.
Outside of that it's hard to say since you didn't specify what genres you like. Look up some lists for good games to start out with independent of genre, if you're not that involved with Gaming in general.
Honestly, go for something like CS:GO or Garrys Mod, as long as you have friends to play the games with they can be really enjoyable, especially Garrys Mod. You can mess around in sandbox or play the gamemodes available, i recommend
The sole objective of Rust is to survive in the wilderness using materials gathered or stolen; the player starts with only a rock and a torch. The player must successfully manage their hunger, thirst, and health or risk dying. While there are bears and wolves, given the game is multiplayer-only, the primary threat is other players. Combat is accomplished through firearms and primitive weapons, such as bows. later into the game you will get guns which you can research and craft and then with weapons you can PvP or raid nearby bases which you want to raid to get even more loot.
