I'm sure some people play an instrument in these forums. I've played piano for about three years and I'm approaching my grade 3 in it. Up until now all I've had was a really old bad keyboard and I didn't take too much interest, but I was lucky enough to get a piano for my birthday and I played in my school concert recently. Post what instrument you play below

I play guitar, taught myself although I'm not super great. I know a few songs but that's about it. Just Metalcore songs and some parts of Deathcore songs. I really wanted a drum set, but there's no room for one in my home and it would be too loud since people are here all day. I got it about 2 years ago.

Yeah, that was a problem for me too, it was difficult to find room to put the piano somewhere

I've been studying music for more than 15 years now. I started with playing the tubas (saxhorn, euphonium and bass tuba). I also play a tiny bit of guitar and keyboards. Nowadays I'm a composer way more than a music player, and I work on ProTools. One could say it is a music instrument itself!

I've been a drummer for over 15 years now (hence the username), and have also passed grades 2,4,5 and 8. I have been self-taught on guitar for 5 years now, and bought a bass over a year ago. The only problem I find with my guitar playing is that, being under my tuition, I have strange/unorthodox/bad technique. I don't always practice as much as I should, but when I get on a run of regular practice sessions, I do notice improvements in my playing.
I also dabble in song writing, too.

Does this count? If it makes music, it does.

I've played guitar for twelve years and am now semi-professional. I'm self-taught but in all honesty with guitar I find that most players taught themselves to play, I'm waiting for the day I meet the guy who had lessons I also play bass and dabble with keyboards and studied music production at university.

Played guitar for 11 years. Since have learned to play the bass, mandolin, banjo, and ukulele. Currently jam in a folk trio with a 12 string guitar and a mandolin. Normally I like to play Ted Nugent, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Rage Against the Machine, and AC/DC esque music.

I used to play a Snare Drum and then a Tenor Trombone in a concert band. The band went to two provincial tournaments with me as the second Tenor Trombone and nailed silver and gold, and then I never touched the instrument again. Recently I've gone for the drum set, but I am so new and so bad that I couldn't consider myself a drummer by any means, so my résumé will be stuck with brass and snare for now.
