That doesn't seem to be what he's saying at all. His point is reasonable since we can't know who has or hasn't used the shortcut regardless of their position on the leaderboard, in the same way we can't be sure of people not doing leap starts, GTA races, slipstreaming, etc. But there's simply no way to police it. I personally just expect that people in this crew would stick to the rules we set. In the end if you can't back up any leaderboard pace with race results you're not considered much of a driver anyway, so all we can do is just keep this to a bit of fun and hope people aren't going to cheat with their times (and let's be honest, who really cares about hotlapping? ) Couldnt agree more and thats why I have been pushing for this Leaderboard to be cleared and only include times from contact races. Or an alternative total/average time leaderboard?

First of all I still insist that my laptime is legit, I didn't use any rockets, boosts or jumpstarted, my laptime got to the leaderboard just like any other laptime, by a photo and just because it's fastest and nobody hasn't beaten it yet that doesn't mean I cheated. That's not the point though, the point is that nor I can prove that it's legit (videoing every hotlaping attempt I did would be extremely impractical) neither you can prove that I cheated (well you have no evidence) so it's a deadend. That's why I agree with what Broughy and Trowa said in the previous posts about only posting lap times from races not only because nobody can doubt the lap times but also personally and rather ironicaly I don't enjoy hotlaping all that much. We would become much better as a crew when racing each other doing playlists instead of hotlaping on our own trying to find the optimal line that we can get once in every 15 laps and posting times that none of us can get close to in a race situation.

I'm sorry Chris but that Lap time is impossible to get, i've noticed on your other tracks you haven't been close to the top times. Our best hot lapper, Picano managed 1.35.803 which we feel is the fastest time possible on that track. We spent hours on it and literally 1.35.1 is not possible. If you got that time legit, then you should be able to do it again.

Picano is certainly up there. The sweat bucket guys spend countless hours trying to get the top times.

I don't see how you people can be that confident about the ultimate lap-time, especially when we are talking about a game like GTA V which has some of the wierdest physics as driving games go, someone could just hit a lampost be4 a corner and get an instant turn in or a wall and get a small boost or maybe have a better line. I am not saying I am a better hotlapper than Picano but I have known that track for more than half a year now and that plays a role p.s. I am not gonna try do that lap-time again cause it would take me about 2 hours or more to get it and I am not patient enough to go all over it again, it's too fustrating-boring

ALL TIMES UPDATED TO THIS POINT
Doodle I did beat your time. I have a 4:50:742 but its not good enough. Must push harder and beat gun1t123 Picano and finally Rohan. 4:47 or bust. I know my lines are good enough for it just havent put together a "perfect lap" yet but then again I havent put much time in either. Did 15laps tonight and there was something wrong with all of them.
