(COMPLETED) (PS3) Super Cars Endurance Race (with a twist)

So, I've had this idea for a single endurance event for a while with Super Cars - the concept is that we will use 8 of the 9 Super Cars in the game to create four teams of two drivers, we will be excluding the Adder from this event because it's the most expensive and no one will really miss it.
Anyway, the premise is that there will be 4 GT1 drivers and 4 GT2 drivers but the team pairings will use specific cars in a "best to worst" setup. This means that for Team A, GT1 will be the Zentorno and GT2 will be the Bullet. Team B will be Entity/Voltic, Team C Turismo/Vacca and team D Infernus/Cheetah.
The thinking behind this is that whatever team you're in there's something to play for. While the Infernus/Cheetah team may not stand much of a chance of winning GT1, they have a great chance with GT2 and the Team Championship. While the Bullet driver for Team A will have to push hard because even not finishing last and gaining one extra point can see his team win the championship. I basically want the event to mean something to everyone in the race, both in terms of team standings and individual points.
The date/time I'm proposing for this event is Saturday, April the 4th with the lobby starting at 6:30pm GMT and the race starting at 7. And the race to last for approximately one hour.
Points will be straight down the line from 8 points for first place to 1 point for last
I am flexible on the time and date, whatever's most convenient to get an enthusiastic group of 8 drivers for the event (well, 7 because I'm already in
Because of the in-game expense of Super Cars, I won't just be going ahead with a random draw for the teams because it would be pointless putting someone in the Zentorno team when they don't own one and couldn't get the money to buy/fully mod one. So what I'm proposing is that: when you sign up, just state which Supers you own and also which ones you don't own but could easily buy and upgrade before the event - then your name goes into the hat for all of the teams your finances/car ownership will allow.
Anyway, even though it's a long post I hope it's straightforward enough and hope there's some interest as it's the first event I've attempted to organise
