Hey everybody, Brad again here! So most of you will have already seen my original thread about this event, I reacreated one to tidy things up as i was on my mobile and that was just to get a rough idea about the interest. So what's up? Well this event will be taking place some time in June but no date is confirmed. The idea as you may know is to hold a rally event which is a playlist that I will put together, this includes seven point to point stages and a special stage which we will hold a rally cross event in the middle, formed of 3 heats and a final.

Start Procedure Marshals and Scoring/Timing
The start procedure will follow suit, drivers line up at Stage 1 in their number order, at an appropriate time, the start coordinator will tell each driver to go one by one with a 5 second gap between cars. At the start of Stage 2, it is up to the race coordinator and myself to line up all of the drivers in reverse grid order, this will be the same every stage as your total time ranks up.
We will have 3 marshals on track, 1 will take charge of the start procedure and once the whole grid has started, will follow all of the cars to the finish. The other 2 marshals will be spread out around the track waiting for cars to pass. If any car is to crash between that marshal and the next, they are to inform the drivers coming through to be cautious by honking their horn and flashing their headlights. Once safe to do so they may help the crashed car back on track if possible, both marshal and driver being cautious of more drivers racing past. And also only rejoining the track when there is a gap. This also means strictly NO respawning. If you crash and get stuck, you will dnf that stage.
The scoring/timing of the race will be up to the race coordinator and myself. The time at which you start each stage will be taken off your total time at the end of that stage. e.g. You start at 1 minute on the timer, and you finish at 4 minutes 30. Your stage time is 3 minutes 30, this is recorded on paper and added to all of your other stage times for the final result. (The special stage does not go towards this and is an independant scoring system).
