NoDo Endurance Racing!
Sunday, August 9th, 8:30 P.M UTC
(pre-race lobby starts at 7:30 P.M UTC)
(qualification race starts around 8:00 P.M UTC)
Welcome to the thread for the NoDo Endurance Racing event, which is on the Xbox 360 only! This event will take place on Sunday, August 2nd, at 8:30 P.M UTC time. The event will take place on one track only, which is my track called Zancudo Raceway. The race will last about an hour long, and I will test to see how long the race will be with the fastest car around the track. The race style will be on a GTA race, so that the pit lane will be made of use. This event is made to be fun, but it's also competitive and is meant to be taken seriously. I hope that we can get a full lobby in so that the racing will be competitive and fun.
Track: Zancudo Raceway
link: socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/jobs/job/a-R6PbAN7USDU_KzXrHPpA
Class: Muscle
Car: Any car is allowed, the Muscle class has a great variety of cars to choose from that can keep up to pace to the leaders.
Customs: On
Tire type: Any, won't really matter though as the track has almost no bumps at all.
Laps: 47
Time: Noon
Weather: Clear
Start Procedure:
The race will not start right away. There will be a qualification session right before the event starts. The qualification race will be 6 laps of the track in Non-Contact, and I will take a photo of the lap times so I can determine grid positions. After all positions are taken care of in the grid, the race will be started by a sticky bomb (when you see or hear the bomb go off, just take off).
Pitting in:
The pit lane is at the second to last straight, to the left of it. Here are the rules to pitting in:
a) When you are pitting in, make sure you stay to the left of the straight so then you can pit safely without starting a crash.
b) If you are planning on pitting and someone is close behind you when coming down the towards the pit lane, flash your lights as much as possible, sound your horn loads of times, and/or get on the mic if you have one just so that the person following is aware of your intentions to pit and adjust their positioning accordingly.
Pitting out:
a) If a driver is going past the pit line while you are exiting, you must keep off the straight until the straight is completely clear. Do not just immediately exit without having any precautions of a person driving by to pass you.
b) You must pull out of the pit lane on the left side of the straight. Otherwise, if a racer comes after you exited and you're on the right side, you will cause much difficulty and even a crash if you don't stay to the left side of the straight.
c) If you are passing the pit lane and someone is trying to exit, you must keep to the right line to allow the pitted driver to exit cleanly.

Rules:
a) Do NOT purposely crash into someone or purposely create a pile-up. This is NoDo, I shouldn't even mention why you can't do this.
b) Make sure you stay in the right order in the grid and do not start early. If you do this, you will be put to the back of the grid.
c) This race is in GTA Race style. Please DO NOT kill anyone in anyway, shape or form.
d) Please don't respawn. What I've witnessed is that when people respawn, military vehicles will block the racing line and will absolutely ruin the event.
e) Please be aware, if you see someone about to overtake you or about to pass the pit lane when you are exited, whatever it may be, don't block anyone purposely. You defend if someone is trying to overtake.
If you disobey any of these rules, you will be kicked out of the event. I shouldn't have to say this, but compared to my last event, I have to say it.
I hope we can get a full lobby in this endurance event! It will be very fun, and I hope to see you guys next week on Sunday!
