A little birdie told me the next GTA V DLC might add new songs into the game.
I was just wondering what your views are on this. Do you have any particular songs you want, or would you rather see R* working more on heists than smaller DLC updates like this and the Independence Update?

I never listen to the in game music so it doesn't matter to me. As far as their development time goes, they probably have a separate team to work on heist, when they aren't trying to fix all the glitches and mods people keep using.

I'm hoping for Nightride FM. Ambient, electro, Italo-disco music, inspired by the movie Drive and hosted by Kavinsky. It was supposed to be in the full game but never appeared. www.grandtheftwiki.com/Nightride_FM

I guess this is true but what I meant was instead of doing what they do, working on individual things, if they were all to put an effort into pushing heists forward. Personally I don't really care about heists but I know a lot of people do. I prefer more regular or seasonal event DLC.

I agree, more metal Jontti500! I'd fancy having this song in GTA Online as I'm climbing all the mountains. As far as an existing artist (if an existing artist in the GTA V radio stations could add another one of their songs), definitely Foreigner's Jukebox Hero. I'd have to sing it as loud and as high pitched as possible through my headset! XD

Jontti500 CantDrive55AndyOh yeah, I'd love me some metal to go along with cruising through the chaos of Los Santos. I'd like to see some Metallica in GTA 5, but that's just a day that never comes(pun intended). My recommendation for new songs by artists already in the game would be either Under Pressure by Queen ft. David Bowie, Long Train running by The Doobie Brothers or She Sells Sanctuary by The Cult. There are lots of goods artists that all deserve more songs in game, but these are the top three in my mind.

As far as the heists go, I'm honestly not even interested in them anymore. We've been waiting so long that I just don't care anymore (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLpfbcXTeo8). I'm speculating that it'll be a few more months until they're out. They do look like fun to do with fellow Nonchalants, I won't lie. I will continue to be patient. I do understand having to address the problems at hand and having to fine tune everything to make sure it all runs smoothly.
For the seasonal content, it's wonderful! It's awesome that they take the time to add it in and reward us for playing the game during the holidays. And it's an added plus that we don't have to pay for it. I don't get why people get upset about the Shark Cards. Don't like them? Don't buy them. Simple. I do understand that it can give low level players sort of an unfair advantage (easy money early on). However, if someone is seriously going to spend real money on GTA dollars then that's their decision. Should missions pay out more? I'm ... honestly not sure. They designed it to pay out "X" amount so you play the game more. That's just how these things go nowadays, it seems.

I love all kinds of electronic and dance music, but the early 90s stuff isn't represented enough on GTA V. Forget footwork, IDM, glitch hop and all that modern stuff, in a new update I want to hear some classic rave, techno, and dance:
