14 Dead, 17 wounded; the police have just recently stated they are not sure if they have the third suspect in custody. One officer wounded (non-life threatening) in the pursuit. Most of the information is unreliable at this point- conflicting comments about seeing people in camo versus seeing people in all black. Police chief will hold a conference at 12:45 am Universal (4:45pm Pacific).

Reporters now stating a witness claims they saw someone running through the neighborhood and jumping fences. Police are going door to door with a K-9 unit.

Group targeted appears to be the county public health department, which was having a banquet.

Contradictory information from multiple news outlets now, so it's hard to say what's going on. Waiting on that news conference.

Fox is starting to throw around "Islamic name" "Faruk Sayid (sic?)" "pipe bomb" "ISIS" "jihad"
...sigh... so much speculation it's sad.

ABC isn't giving out any information on the gunmen. People who were in surrounding buildings are being allowed to leave now (they've been in lockdown since the shooting). Of the 17 injured, 10 went to the hospital; 1 is still in surgery, 1 has been allowed to leave. One hospital that injured were sent to was subject to a bomb threat; that threat has been cleared but a police presence remains.
Reports suggest the gunmen entered the only building in the area that did not have security guards, opened fire on the banquet without speaking, and then fled to the SUV they used to escape.
The press conference with the sheriff that was supposed to happen an hour ago still has yet to happen.

Huh? 3rd person seen running from shooting scene is reported detained, but no info available. Search wrapped up of nearby area where residents reported possible suspect jumping fences, with negative results. No reason to believe of additional suspects outstanding.

One potential bomb at the site of the shooting; there are more suspicious packages on site.
Sheriff has stated two dead at the SUV- one male, one female. 'Assault style clothing.' Both armed with assault rifles and handguns. Uncertain as to whether there are explosives still in the SUV; being very careful. Possible explosives around the vehicle.
FBI talking about a house and possible explosives. Specifically not making the call as to if this is terrorism. Being very careful about what they say and commit to.
Sheriff again. Two people in vehicle, both deceased. Third person was seen running, now in custody, don't know if they're involved or just person fleeing gunfire. Search of neighborhood has ceased. No motive.
Sheriff has heard nothing to suggest suicide vests. Still determining if there were more than two people involved, open to possibility of more than two.
Possible pipe bomb has been rendered safe- apparently not an explosive.
There's a rumor that one of the people involved in the shooting was at the holiday party, left, and returned to perform the attack. This is nothing more than a rumor at this point.
Apparently there was a search warrant, but there is no information as to how that address is related (at least from the Sheriff).
Sheriff has no information regarding identities or ethnicities.

House appears to be located in Redland CA. Suggestions that the search warrant was for that house, and possibly the SUV was located there, and fled- although that sounds like possible confusion given that would mean the SUV fled from Redlands back to San Bernardino to the scene of the crime, where it was then shot up.
But there's something going on with that house and how it's related. Male at the SUV was killed outside the SUV; female was still in SUV and pulled from the vehicle.
News initially called the man and woman a couple- then another person backtracked on that and stated they had no idea as to whether there was any relationship between the two.

Wow. Even up here in San Fran, I've heard of the thing. News stations keep on talking about it!
But either way, such a terrible waste of life. While this is nowhere near as bad as what happened to Paris, it's still sad to see that people hate each other enough to want to kill each other for no apparent reason. Killing 14 and injuring 17 is horrendous, no argument there. Add in the liberal applications of ISIS and other terror groups? I think the news media is hyperbolizing this to be even more scary than it actually is.
This is one of those times as well that the US's extremely bad gun control is severely detrimental, as anybody over the age of 18 without a history of crime can walk up to the nearest Walmart and buy a rifle. I get that this freedom is nice, but it was necessary 150 years ago, when you had to defend your own property. Nowadays, not so much. Most of Europe has strict gun control. If the US was closer to that, then shootings like this would be a lot less frequent.
