Hello everyone, I am ImperialBoss and I'd just like to say that it's incredible to be here.
I've been a big fan of Broughy1322 since his stock testing days. I've always loved to race so naturally NoDo seemed like the right place for me. I actually joined about a month ago and have been bumbling around, not sure of what to do ever since. Met a few members, had some badass races (lost most of course) and have been loving every second. Though I've always had this feeling that I was missing something. Recently discovered this forum and (after some troubles from outdated tech I use...) finally got in. So THIS is where these awesome events happen that I've heard so much about.
This shouldn't be too much of an issue as i have been working on this rather obsessively, just a small heads up: I am still learning the art of not being the asshat that causes all the crashes. So if you do happen to end up next to me in a race, be a little cautious as I might not know you're there or I might loose control as I do get disoriented in large groups (too used to randoms). This hasn't been a problem recently, just thought I'd say something since it has happened in the past and it was really shameful...
I am on Xbox One and am in the Pacific Standard Time zone... So for most of you I will be on the wrong system and in the opposite time zone. Hopefully I can pull this off and soon you should see me in a few events. I know I'm not on par with most of you and that's fine by me, my W/L needed to go down anyway. Plus any practice I can get dealing with other good drivers is much appreciated.
My racing experience in other racing games isn't expansive. Need for Speed was what I started on back in the PS2 days. Stayed with NFS until DiRT was released. Fell in love with rally racing and stayed with DiRT. Have always heard good things about Forza and Gran Turismo, i just never got around to actually playing those. Thus my first introduction to Proper Racing was by Broughy1322 in his Racing School Series. Fascination grew to obsession and now here I am in NoDo XB1. It's been an awesome journey getting here and I look forward to the awesome racing we will have together.
Cheers, guys!
