I do not know about you all: but I take great satisfaction when someone blows my car up. This can be supremely annoying as most of you know. Somebody rampaging through the streets with a tank at times is frustrating.
I thought of an eloquent solution to this problem: hit em where it hurts, their wallet. I drive around my most expensive car (z-type) which has over a $10k insurance penalty to those who destroy it. So I constantly highlight the player and drive by them so they can blow it up over and over again. I think the most times a single player has blown this car up in free roam was 11 times before they caught on to what I had done. To any legitimate player who does not mod or money glitch, $110k is a fair chunk of gta money and your time.
Does anyone else have any funny or interesting gta online revenge stories?

I was in a lobby where this guy was tormenting everyone with the God Mode glitch so I went to the Military Base, stole a tank a parked on top of him. He couldn't escape so I got out of the tank and left him there and watched. He spent about five minutes trying to get out until he quit the lobby. I consider this excellent revenge.

parksguard you attack them with your vehicle, meanwhile I attack their vehicle straight up. Pour about 5-10 units of gasoline beside a tire near the car's engine, ignite it with your car's flame exhaust, and watch their car blow up at their expense. It costs you around $7 in gas and sets them back around $5000 plus the convenience of having a car.

In response to the OP, do you know what happens when a person charges about in a tank with no money? Surely it doesn't end up costing them anything? I don't know much about this situation since I've never had an empty wallet online. Maybe someone can inform me.

If a player has no money at all, (on hand or bank account) they are not charged anything, but neither are you.

I do not think a broke person would be steamrolling me with a tank.

What i love to see is wannabe tough guys in a tank and with out it the have no gun skill at all, except relying on auto aim.
One of my friends invited me to a lobby where a "tough guy" kept bullying him and well just kept hunkered in his tank just to kill him and some others, he was the "the highest rank in the lobby" so he though it would be nice to bully lower ranks, when i joined i decided to handle the situation by destroying his tank and just keep murdering him over and over, he tried and tried to kill me but with not so good gun skill he failed sniper shots, point blank ranges, and not quick enough reactions he gave up after i killed him a load of times to where i lost track. He backed out the lobby after about a half hour of some constant killing.
He needed a good bullying himself to realize what its like on the other end. This is more like my hero type story but i think i went over board on him, but payback is best served with a little help.

I too lack in tank skills, but my sniping is decent, and my knife game is impeccable right @alfislegend ?

What I do is steal their own tanks!! I get something fast and nimble (sanchez for example), hide from the map and reach them from behind (you can see where they are looking cause of the canon) and simply steal it. It's amazing how close you can get without them seeing you. They are stuborn, trying to get it back so they don't leave the lobby for a good 15 mins which means I can play with their tanks for quite a while. If you perfect the art of stealing tanks it will work 75% of the time.

Yep the gasoline method is quicker but nothing is more satisfying than seeing a supercar of an enemy falling 100s of feet into the ocean

Just a tip for everyone not sure if it still works, but if you poor gasoline on the engine of some one's car and make a trail away from it and you backfire the trail with any car (a zentorno for example) it will light the fire and destroy the vehicle with out you have to pay for the insurance premium.

As much as I despise tank griefers, tanks are no longer so hard to take out, jets take them out easily and 3 sticky bombs/4rpgs +off the radar. However that's about $2000/2500 or $5000 if you call Lester. But that's valuable ammo and money. I think tanks from pegasus need to be nerfed a big more in freemode, for example they could have a 10 minute cool down from when they were destroyed to the next order. Alot of Gta online players enjoy griefing other players, when I'm on my main character with all unlocks I can give them a taste of their own medicine. But on my 2nd character It is a struggle to fight back, when I was trying to customise my 2nd character, some level 50-60 odd scrub kept closing the clothes stores and tattoo parlors while I was in there, but it's easier to grief someone than it Is to a avoid griefers while you're trying to something. i think passive mode needs improving but At the same time if you need to be in passive mode to avoid the bullies, is there much point staying in that server.
